Party Success Hair Colour in Green and Colour Xtreme Hair Art in Red

These were purchased over the festive season to add some pizazz to the celebrations. It turned out to be such a hit especially amongst the older folk, who would've guessed. Cleaning out my cupboard over the weekend allowed me the oppurtunity to find these "gems" all the way at the back(typical).

Being the month of Hair at Beauty Bulletin I decided to try them out once more,in a fun 'striped poof'

Both these products are easy to use and deliver on their mentioned colour. The Colour Xtreme in RED I found was much easier to use as the can is slim and narrow, allowing for great manipulation to reach every strand. The nozzle is also of a better quality and is easier to press in all the weird angles used to get the back of my head. The fumes arent very accomodating so I advise using it in a well ventilated room or even out-doors. The spray once applied looked very "blood-red" and seemed to have stained my scalp, something I'm quiet used to as I have extremely fine hair. Once completely dried though, the colour ligtened on my scalp and was more intense on my hair itself. The colour was intense, rich and vibrant- which is essential if being used on dark hair. The product didnt stain or flake off and looked perfect even the next day. When it was time to be washed off, It took my normal 2-shampoo lather to get my hair back to normal.

Now onto Party Success, this can due to its jumbo shape was a tad difficult to hold whilst spraying the back of my head. It took some getting used to and some time on finding the right position to hold the can in order to achieve what I was looking for. Te nozzle is the same you'd find on a can of Q10, this did not impress me as if not held down tighly it would move in the wrong direction whilst spraying. The colour shown on the cap is also a tad deceiving as I was expecting a vibrant even green, this green dries into a slighly olive-musky green. This product does catch onto material but washes out like a breeze. The fumes on this 1 is also not as grand and should be applied in a good ventilated area. This product was easy to wash off just like the red spray.

I highly reccomend both these products to anyone looking to try something different and fun, even if just temporarily.If in a rush or if youre requiring a more efficient product of the 2, I would suggest The Colour Xtreme Range. They both add some spice and interest to a festive or celebratory occasion and is a look that will definitely make heads turn. . .
