Palmers Cocoa Body Butter

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E intensely hydrated my skin. The butter melts into the skin and locks in moisture. It left my skin feeling smooth and soft, It worked best for me as a night time moisturiser as it was too heavy for day time. It softened and relived my dry skin (knees & elbows). However, I did not notice any dramatic changes in the fading of dark marks and smoothing of scars. Maybe with prolonged use, I will notice the improvements.

iv only been using it for a few weeks. reason i decided to try it was because it said it removes marks and scars..
im feeling the difference in my skin in how it feels already...
softness that lasts all through the day.

A product that will always remain one of my favourite body butters! Palmer’s Cocoa Body Butter offers a creamy, rich and decadent body butter that melts into your skin. The range comes in four varients; Olive Oil Butter formula, Shea Butter Formula, Coconut Milk Formula, and my favourite, the original, Coca Butter FOrmula.

I give it five stars. Love the price, the smell, quality and above all, the effectiveness of this coca butter. It is significantly lighter than all the other palmers lotions yet it manages to maintain the effectiveness I have grown to associate with all Palmers products.

I did not know they had a body butter version of the cocoa butter from Palmers. I am a big fan of Palmers products, so I was happy to try this fo rwinter after seeing the reviews here.

It surpirised me as the formula is lighter than the lotion I have used in the past. Even so, it is just as moisturising. I also think the smell is a bit much and takes some getting used to. It reminds me of the one for the Palmers Stretch Mark Cream. I do love this product though!

Effective butter for all types of skin conditions. Rich and thick it can be used during any time of the year. The smell is quite coco-nutty and takes getting used to.

Wonderfully rich thick product that glides on and absorbs well. Luxurious. Only problems is that i'm not a fan of the fragrance... and it lingers which is great... if you like the smell.

The real value of this cream lies in the fact that it is a thick cream, good enough for either a hand cream or a body cream. It is thick, non-oily and easily absorbed. The cream is as luxurious and much more expenisive creams. It reminds me of Shea Butter containing body butters.

This may be hard in the container, but as soon as you rub a tiny bit in your hand, one can smell and feel the oils in the butter. I love this especially because when I take my next shower, I can still feel the butter on my body.

As per my granny, Palmers have been around for a long time... Nice to know that this is a well known, trusted product that clearly have results

I really love this body butter because it smells so delicious! It has a nutty, chocolatey smell. The product is a creamy, buttery colour and it appears thick, but feels lightweight on the skin. It is very moisturising and leaves a delicious scent on the body. I love applying a thick layer of this to the soles of my feet and put on socks afterwards before bed, because it leaves your feet feeling super soft (especially if you exfoliate your feet beforehand).

Definitely a great buy for those that have dry skin and for winter.. Or if you just like smelling chocolatey :)

For when you need a little bit more moisturizing without the heaviness

This body butter smells more nutty than chocolaty. It has quite a thick consistency but feels very lightweight on your skin. It's quickly and easily absorbed and leaves your skin smelling nutty. A little of this goes a long way and you don't need all that much to spread over your whole body.

This really is an ultra-moisturising cream that contains Vitamin E and Urea. It leaves the skin very soft and smooth. You don't feel sticky like some body butters do. The product is completely absorbed and feels light on the skin.

In terms of helping to improve the appearance of marks and scars, I think it might actually do that. I had a small, fairly fresh scar on my arm and after a few days of using this the mark disappeared completely.
