Olay total effects cleansing age defying milk

I must admit, i use this cleansing milk because of its anti aging properties because im not really into milk cleansers. I feel it doesn't take off all my make up,so when i use it at night,i first cleanse my face using my normal cleanser and then i apply this with a cotton pad.it feels really nice on my skin and in the morning i can see my skin looking alot fresher as opposed to looking dull, because winter has that effect on me.

In the mornings i use only this to cleanse my skin .i don't find it drying ,in fact its quite hydrating and leaves my skin feeling very supple and moisturised. In a few days I've seen great results so i can imagine how beneficial prolonged use will be .

I started using this product 3 weeks ago, mainly because I had been pinching my mums night cream and I found Olay products to be so moisturizing, and awakening to my skin.

My Fiance bought me the Olay 7 effects age defying milk for R85 at a valentines day sale at his work.

How I use it: I wash my face with my regular face wash, cleanse my face with my regular cleanser and then I apply the cleanse/toner with my hands onto semi damp skin, I must say I am very generous with it, and I massage it into my skin, if any excess I always apply it to my hands. I then spritz some water (Body Shop Vitamin C spray) onto a cotton wool disc and wipe off the Milk Cleanser/Toner.

My skin is left very well moisturized, plump and glows. I do this everyday, twice a day. during the night I do not follow up with my regular moisturizer, I just leave it at the Milk Cleanser/toner, however during the day I will then apply my usual face cream.

Since my using it I have noticed my skin to be very plump, smooth and my blemishes are fading away, more particularly a blemish I had on the tip of my nose (it was caused by my washing my face with sunlight washing green bar)

I would highly recommend this product to anyone who feels they need a fresher face, works long hours, and has dull looking skin. before it I used to complain that i looked very stressed out and tired, well not anymore.

its been a month since my first review on this product and i have actually starting to love it.

I have been using this cleanser for just over 2 weeks now and cant really say that i have seen any changes in my skin. i have however found that the cleanser leaves my skin soft and it doesnt feel tight and dry like some others. The instructions on the bottle was a bit confusing for me as it only states to wipe your face wiht the product and cotton wool. The product is cented slightly and is thick and very creamy and is actually nice when you wipe it on your face, but i dont like not washing the dirt off and did use lukewarm water after the cleaning and wiping as i found that the cleanser did take a lot of make up off but i had to use a lot, i would use about 4 cotton pads for my face and it still didnt feel that clean. I did use it on my eyes and it was great in removing mascara but it did sting when i got it in my eye after rinsing with water.

I have actually started using it more like a normal face wash and instead of the cotton pads used my fingers and gently kind of washed with it and then splashed it off. My face did feel more moisturised after cleaning but i do like a normal face wash more than a milky cleanser. I will keep on using it until its done to see the difference after two weeks and the end of the product.

I generally don't use milk cleansers as I prefer a product that can be washed off, otherwise my face is left feeling greasy and not clean enough. First off I like the smell of this cleansing milk. It's a very soft and powdery scent. This does remove makeup, but I quickly discovered that it worked better if I used it only in the morning or after I washed my face. It does leave your face feeling a bit oily and not very clean if you just apply it with a cotton pad. I also use it as an eye-makeup remover as it makes things a lot simpler and easier. But there is a warning on the bottle that you should immediately rinse eyes if any gets in there.

Olay have very good products and they are a known and trusted brand. Unfortunately I don't think this is a winner. I will keep using it as an extra step in my routine but wouldn't recommend it as a first step. It does leave my face smooth but I'm not sure of anti-aging benefits as I've only used it for a week. However my face did look a bit more refreshed than usual after using this a few times.

Thanks very much to the ladies at Beauty Bulletin for sending me this product to try as I have been wanting to try it out for ages. Unfortunately, I wasnt totally impressed by this product, simply because I prefer a cream cleanser that doubles up as a make-up remover and this one definitely doesnt.
