Nyx Powder Blush

The name of this shade is super confusing - Peach. Why I say that is because its not peachy at all, but a beautiful baby pink. The shade is gorgeous and gentle and gives you that innocent look.

It is very easy to blend and has very good pigmentation. One dip into the powder with a brush you have enough for one cheek. It tends to be a little powdery if you dip too hard but it doesn't take away from its quality, even though a bit annoying.

As with the rest of NYX products, I find them very overpriced in SA for what they are supposed to be but there is not a lot we can do about that as it also applies to a lot of other brands in SA. It is still worth getting for the price it goes for.

My next shade to try from them is Stone - I have checked it out a few times - it looks perfect for contouring.

When it comes to blush I've always gone for pink shades but one day while shopping at Click's I stopped at the NYX display and asked the consultant to recommend a different colour. She tested the Terra Cotta on my skin and it looked nice. It's a more bronze colour than terracotta. I don't need to apply a lot of product. It works well for evening wear and suits my complexion but it's not an everyday blush for me. I prefer a cream blush in a soft pink tone for a more natural look, however I am still holding onto this blush for those special occasions when soft pink just wont do! I would recommend the product, however I don't think I would repurchase the same colour again. I think by the time I finish this blush there will be some other colour I'd like to try out! But hey I'm a product Junkie I'm always in search of the next new product to try!

I bought this shade to use as a contouring product rather than a blush, and I have to say that it's fantastic - perfect colour and very highly pigmented so you only need a teensy bit. The colour is very buildable and blends like a dream!

A great colour! You don't need to apply a lot because the colour isn't that light. Even if you drop it multiple times on the floor, it doesn't break! Love this blush.

Not only is NYX a cruelty free brand(which i LOVE) but they also have a wide variety of products, colours and textures. The NYX powder blush line is great but "Taupe" is a personal favourite. It is versatile and long wearing with good colour payoff and isnt chalkey. It can be used as a blush colour or a contouring colour as its a perfect all around shade. *****
