NYX - pearl mania loose eyeshadow

Received this in my rubybox and was so excited. It is very buildable and you can go intense or subtle. It is a bit expensive though. This is one brand I have been meaning to try out for a while now but just haven’t gotten around to yet so I was really excited to see this in the box. This doesn’t look like much in the bottle but once applied it has this amazing pearly sparkle. And these pigments have many functions they can be a nail polish if mixed with top coat, mixed with a clear lip gloss for a lipstick, on the cheeks or as an eyeshadow. I tried it as an eyeshadow for a smokey eye it’s really pigmented and doesn’t crease. I found it best to use my finger rather than a brush because I battled to build it up with I brush.

For R44 you would think these tiny bottles are not worth it, but don't let size dishearten you. These little bottles contain quite a lot of product so they last quite a while. I was introduced to this last month in a Rubybox which contained a pot. The colour I got was Pearl which is a great highlighting colour. Best part is this range regardless of colour can also be used on your cheeks as well as lips to add that extra shine and colour and to mix things us a bit. They will add some extra shimmer to your perfect night out.

Go for it and see if you can collect em all! I now have a total of 12 :)

I am slowly but surly going to collect these little pots until I have them all! I currently have them in black pearl and mocha pearl. I use them together to create a more natural smokey eye. I use the mocha at times as an everyday color because it is very close to my skin tone (nc44.5) but has a very pretty shine to it. The pot itself is tiny and as is the lid. With pigments, I like to pour a little powder into the lid and dip my brush and begin applying. With this, I cannot. The lid is too small for my eye shadow brush. I have taken my shadows and transferred them into other containers just for convenience. Other than that, the product is amazing. Great shine, stays on for ages and applies smoothy.
If you haven't used a powder eyeshadow before, please note that you will end up with some eyeshadow somewhere on your face that has dropped from your brush :) I tend to do my eyes first, then remove whatever has fallen on my face and then do my primer, foundation, etc!

I love this eyeshadow I only have one, in the colour TRUE PURPLE PEARL (LP29). It's a deep pearly purple which has an amazing texture once applied to eyes. The application can get abit messy so always keep some eye make up remover in hand! I will be purchasing more colours because I really can't get enough of this product.

THESE ARE SOO GREAT!!

The only thing I would change about these NYX pearl Mania Loose Eye shadows would have to be the size.

I want them BIGGER! :)

However don't be fooled by the small containers they do last very very long.

The colour pay off is excellent and the lighter more peach tone pigments makes a great cheek bone highlight colour as well as eyeshadow.

I will definitely repurchase.
