Also a lot of these fiber mascara's tend to flake off and leave tiny bits on your face, but after a full day I noticed nothing of the sort. In fact this mascara really stays in place, almost to the extent of acting like the waterproof version.
The wand has a bit of an hourglass shape that curves to perfectly coat corner lashes. The formula isn't very wet and sets a curl quite nicely. This mascara definitely coats your lashes nicely and really makes them pop. I don't think the effect is "fake lashes" extreme, but definitely similar to doll eyes. The best part is that your lashes feel soft and not hard and crunchy like a lot mascaras do.
I know mascara works differently on everyone's lashes so I feel it's important to mention that I have normal to longer lashes with a natural curl. So someone with very short straight lashes might have a completely different experience.
