Clicks is currently running a 30% off all NYX lipsticks promotion, and seeing as I am loving the brand but had not as yet tried their lipsticks, I jumped on the opportunity.
I chose the ‘sparkling red’ colour, a not too bright blue-based red (blue-based reds are great for making teeth appear whiter) and the retractable’red’ lipliner which also claims to be ‘waterproof’.
The lipliner glides on easily and smoothly, unlike the others I own which are quite dry and need a considerate amount of ‘warming up’ before applying.
The main ingredient in the lipstick is beeswax which means it is more moisturising than most lipbalms out there, but unlike most moisturising lipsticks I own this one actually lasts! I only have to reapply once during the day (after lunch).
I was so impressed with this pair that I also bought the ‘sparkling dusty rose’ lipstick and ‘nude pink’ retractable lipliner and I am equally impressed with this set.
