Nivea Pampering Shower Oil

I've been using this product for a year now and I must admit it is a winter must have for me since my skin gets really dry in winter. it leaves my skin moisturised and feeling soft. I love it...

I enjoy this shower oil. Unlike other shower oils I've tried it lathers up quite nicely. The scent is makes you feel as though you are in a spa. I use this when i want to skip applying in shower moisturizer. I also use it after exfoliating to give the extra moisture needed.

This is a product that I buy every year in the dead of Winter. The scent is wonderful, and the oil lathers up well and leaves skin feeling moisturised and soft. Will definitely continue to buy this for many winters to come!

I haven't received this product from the BB team but I have always loved and bought the product for myself. I'm very lazy when it comes to moisturising my skin and this product helps me to continue being lazy...lol. My skin is super soft when I step out of the shower and there is no need to add extra moisture!

Best shower oil especially in winter. Love how it nourishes the body and lathers well. Great smell.

I bought this after reading the great reviews about it , and I must say I absolutely love it .
The product smells absolutely divine , it is oil based and highly nourishing .

I applied it whilst in the shower , it doesn't lather like a shower gel so rather do your usual shower routine and rinse off then apply this .
Its great as it acts as a in shower body moisturizer.

My skin was left feeling so smooth and soft , it really hydrated it.
This is perfect for unwinding at the end of a long day , the scent really helps calm you and the feeling is so luxurious.

I really enjoy using this shower oil especially during winter, the smell is sensational and relaxing. It makes my skin feel soft and supple and combats dryness!!! This oil makes bath times so luxurious it will leave you wanting more!!! You can use directly in the shower or use a few drops in your bath tub and relax relax relax away !!! The price is good retailing for R 35 rand in the macro online store or alternatively around R 42 rand in dischem & Clicks stores for a 200ml bottle, ul look forward to bat time every day and night!!!

Lovely product from Nivea, I must say I love that it is oil based. Feels so luxurious on my skin. Doesn't later up as much as I would have liked though but it does leave my skin silky Smooth so I sometimes skip moisturiser when I use it. I do however use it after I've used my usual body wash as I find it's not as cleansing. So basically it just serves the purpose of a good moisturizer to me.

I was so excited when I saw this, I love any oil based wash or soak. But I expected more of this product. It didn't make my skin as soft as I thought it would. Won't buy it again.

I absolutely loved the idea of a shower oil. It does feel like luxury but also agree that it didn't make me feel clean. It made me feel relaxed, like I just had a massage but not clean like I just got out the shower...if you know what I mean. I would use this with a another product. It's good for a little at home pampering...

I am not sure if I am the only one who simply loves this to death, and doesn't even wait for one bottle to finish before I buy another bottle. So let us start off with "I love the smell of Nivea products", they make you feel calm, relaxed and feel perfectly natural, this pampering oil isn't any different. When I first purchased a bottle of this which was probably a year and a half ago, I mistakened it for a body wash, soon after I begun experimenting, I started to fall in love with this pampering oil. This glossy honey coloured oil has a medium texture (not too thick, nor is it too runny) perfect to moisturise and leave skin feeling amazing. I really love the smell again! It is natural, makes you feel calm and relaxed. I apply the oil after I use a body wash and once you apply this oil to skin it slightly lathers (not enough to actually bath with) I leave it for a few seconds and then rinse off... My skin feels soft and smooth, I just wish the fragrance could linger on skin for longer.

It's sells for R46 from clicks making it more pricey than other in-shower cleansers! Gauging from the fact that there was just one left on the shelf I'd say it's fairly popular! The smell is warm n comforting nothing I'm familiar to relate it with! It's a deep amber to honey coloured oil that is thinnish: by this i mean you can really pour out too much! It ran right through my shzen skin stimulator: i had expected a thick consistency! It doesn't foam up as expected and i think the foam generated on my bath skin stimulator may well have been foam from the Nivea coconut cream shower cleanser I'd just finished using do being from the same Nivea family i couldn't tell if indeed this foams well! My skin I'd uncomfortably dry this winter! My cleansers moisturizers and even hair care products have changed to be thicker more moisturizing and I've used a lot of body n facial oils! All in all my skin in enveloped in a soft delicate scent and feels soft n nourished somewhat and not stripped! I'd buy this again!

I purchased this as I tend to get really dry itchy skin during the winter. The first time I used it I put some onto a mesh sponge, and it didn't really work that well, It didn't foam at all. It does however foam when you rub it between your hands, but not as much as a regular body wash. Keeping in mind that not a lot of foam doesn't necessarily mean that isn't cleaning.

I agree with the other reviews that I feel much cleaner if I first use another body wash and then rub myself all over with the pampering oil before my final rinse off. My skin doesn't show any signs of being dry and it does feel smooth and soft afterwards.

The scent of this product is more a neutral scent, so hubby and I can both use it! I am however not entirely convinced that I would purchase it again.

I bought this over the weekend when looking for a new body wash in a panic ( ran out that morning and used my husbands - smelt like guy for most of the day ).
I was drwan to it because of the oil. I liked that I could use a oil body wash in the shower and got quite excited.
I used it that afternoon before going out and loved the oil on my skin. It didnt foam up like it promised to and even though my skin felft great afterwards I still felt like I need to properly was myself.
I now use a normal body wash to scrub myself and then to a quick lather with the shower oil, paying special attention to my elbows, knees and arms ( it is getting into winter after all ).
I like the idea of a shower oil but it doesnt quite live up to expectations. I paid R38 for it, whch is cheap considering what bath oils cost, but feel that it doesnt do the job.
I feel moisturised afterwards but not clean so I use it in conjuction with a shower gel which defeats the purpose of the product.
I like that there is no oild residue afterwards but it seems like the oil remain in the shower rather than on the body....my shower gets slippery as well now.
I wont buy this again but will continue to use it until its finished as it is not awful enough to waste.
I'd rather go with a normal shower gel and then go back to a nice pampering oil or cream to put on after the shower. I suppose this is what happens when I get lazy and try to skip a step.

I definately agree with Quanita that this product DOES NOT FOAM! I tend to use my normal body wash before applying this product - although it does give your skin a beautiful glow, and is great to lock moisture in during cold winter months - i'm not entirely convinced that it actually CLEANS your skin!!
