Nivea CeLLular Anti-Age Day Cream

I adore all the Nivea but the day cream is lovely! So cream and rich but yet it doesn't leave your skin feeling heavy and over moisutursed. A Brilliant easy-absored day cream for under your make up.

I've always been rather worried about using Nivea as I've only ever been exposed to their body products and was worried my sensitive would react to their face creams. After trying the Cellular Anti-Ageing range I'm eating my words!
The packaging is on par with most high end brands and looks beautiful on my bathroom shelf. The scent of the day cream is not overpowering, which assured me that my skin wouldn't react to it, and I was right. The consistency is creamy yet light and doesn't sit on the skin and absorbed instantly into my dry, ageing skin.
I'm sold on Nivea face anti-ageing face products and my bank account is all the better for it.

My mom was sent this cream from the ladies at Beauty Bulletin and I just had to get a sneaky little try and review in too! (I don't like missing out :))

I know Im not old enough to "need" anti-aging products but my mom being a beautician she has always advised me that it is never too soon to use products to keep your skin baby soft and wrinkle free.

I have been using this for about 2 weeks now as a night cream and it is so rich when I wake up in the morning my face feels ultra soft and moisturised. I tried to use it as a day cream under my foundation and it was a no go area my foundation moved all day - this is probably because it is too much for my skin type as I know my mom has dry skin and its perfect all round for her for me it is perfect as a night cream its perfect!

After using NIVEA CELLular Anti-Age Facial Day Cream for only a week, I felt a complete difference in my skin. My skin felt moisturised and not at all dry. Neither did I feel any sensitivity around the eye area, which is always a concern to me when opting for a facial product. After using this product for a period of 1 month, I could see a huge difference in the small facial lines, which all appeared a lot less visible. I really enjoy the creamy feel of this product and will recommend it any day. Nivea has really come to the party, where skin & beauty products are concerned.

I was very excited to review this product, having always had a good relationship with Nivea products and also because I am in the market for a good day cream.

However, when I FINALLY got my product (thanks SAPO!!!), the grand opening of the rather attractive jar actually made me want to chuck it in the bin and write it off there and then!

It was the smell, you see.

The blurb on the product talks about an "indulgent scent" but all I could smell was BABY PRODUCTS! Seriously, even now, 2 weeks later - every time I apply the cream, I'm reminded of baby stuff. While I'm all for babies, this is NOT what I want from my face cream!

Anyway, I knew I had to persevere, so that's what I did. Two weeks later, I'm rather a convert - if I could just get over that smell!!!

The nitty gritty
The cream is so easy to apply, it spreads really well and goes on silky soft. And best of all, it stays that way all day!
I didn't once feel overly oily or overly dry. And my skin lately never seems to be content with what I apply - so that was a pretty tough nut for Nivea to crack. But crack it they did. I was very impressed.

There were no initial breakouts (as so often happens when I try a new product) and no issues at all with this cream - it slotted neatly into my routine with no worries whatsoever.

I think it is too early to tell whether this genuinely has an effect on wrinkles etc. but I will be using it for some time so I will keep you updated. Put it this way, I'm hopeful! The texture of the cream and the texture of my skin after using the cream, make me so!

My only gripes are:
1. the smell!
2. the SPF - I have an SPF 15 and would definitely prefer it to be SPF 30, that way I don't need to use additional sun protection. But I believe the product does actually come in an SPF 30 variant so would definitely go for that one.

All in all, a fab product and a big THANK YOU to BB for allowing me to experience this cream.

I really liked the packaging and the container – It is attractive and has a stylish and luxurious feel to it. The silver lid of the pot gives you the sense that it is a special product.

I've used this product for a few weeks now and find that I'm not getting pimples anymore, like I did when I started using it.

The moisturiser is absorbed easily and leaves a non-sticky feel, with no residue. I can feel the difference in the moisture level of my skin and it no longer looks lack-luster.

After three weeks of use, I can say that this product delivered on its promises. What a pleasure to use!

I started using the Nivea Cellular Anti-Age Facial Day Cream SPF 15 with much trepidation - how could a brand that's been around forever have a product which claims to protect skin from cell damage, pigmentation and even age spots? I persevered and was pleasantly surprised by Nivea Cellular Anti-Age Facial Day Cream SPF 15. The cream is wonderfully light, non-greasy and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. With or without my serum it was wonderful. My face shows no hint of dryness at all. Even much later in the day my face still feels and looks good even as I write this. I can definitely feel the difference in my skin.

It would have been interesting to see the full effect of the range had I been able to test all the Nivea Cellular Anti-Age Facial products simultaneously.

SP factor in day creams is good because preventing sun damage is important.

The fragrance of Nivea Cellular Anti-Age Facial Day Cream SPF 15 is pleasant and it reminds me of another product of which the name escapes me but is very pricey.

The fact that Nivea has been around for so long has the psychological effect of making me feel like a kid again because I associate it with being on dressing tables of my Mum and late Gran

The entire range is excellent value for money when compared to similar products from other leading brands and I would not hesitate to use all the products when my current supplies run out.

I've been using NIVEA’s CELLular Anti-Age Facial Day Cream for the past month. I love the familiar Nivea smell and the light texture of the cream. It is non oily, but hydrating, and has an SPF of 15. My skin really feels much more hydrated, but I can't see any difference in my wrinkles yet. Maybe it is still too early though. I will keep on using it, and am sure I'll start seeing a difference soon.

Will I continue with this after the trial – YOU BET !

When I heard that I was selected for the Nivea Cellular review club, I couldn't contain my excitement! I am a HUGE Nivea fan and couldn't wait to try it. Well, it has not disappointed. The jar has a simple, yet classic design - a glass jar with a chrome lid. The formula is so soft that it almost feels like a mousse on your fingertips and is absorbed instantly into the skin. It glides on like silk and leaves skin looking silky and smooth afterwards, with absolutely no oily residue. It is the perfect base for make-up and foundation doesn't sink into any of my creases even if I don't use a primer that day.
I love the delicate scent, which is so Nivea! My skin feels nourished and soft and, after two weeks of use, I can definitely notice a reduction in my laugh lines. They are not as prominent as they were before, so I am going to continue to use this fabulous day cream and will perhaps add some more goodies from the range into my beauty routine.

This product has the distinctive smell of Nivea - the way it has always smelt. BUT don't be fooled. This is not your old-school Nivea product.Its magic in a jar.

It looked really greasy on my fingers when I used it for the first time. Once it was however on my skin (and hands) it vanished within seconds. Wow!

This is an awesome product and helped from day one to prevent my foundation from leaving creases.

Loving it and so is my husband who has resorted to stealing some every morning now!

This is good value at about R160. It is in the same price range as other day creams without the anti-aging ingredients. I will try the eye cream & serum next to see if by using all of them it improves my skin. This has made my skin feel good, even after only a week.
