Nicole is rocking a hot eye makeup trend for 2010, hues of purples- fabulous for any eye colour but especially for brown eyed girls like Nicole.  Glamarama. To get Nicole’s gorgeous opalescent purple peepers follow these easy steps!

To prepare your lids make sure they are wiped clean of any remaining eye makeup for the best canvas. Apply an eye primer all over your eyelids with your fingers; gently pat it in to get it nice and smooth so that your shadow goes on perfectly and stays!

Choose your eye shadow shades ranging from violets, lavenders and burgundy shades for the best effect. Work with your natural eye colour for blue or green eyes you will need deeper colours than brown eyed ladies will. Remember, mix it up!

With your blending brush, apply the lightest eye shadow like an iridescent pale purple or lavender on your upper and lower lids as well as the inner corners of your eyes.

The next step in creating this gorgeous look is to blend a deeper hue like violet in the outer corners to create a sultry look for your lids.

To finish off the look line the inner rims of your eyes with a jet black eye pencil- avoid liquid eyeliner as it may smudge-to make the purple really pop. Coat your lashes with at least 3 coats of black mascara and voila, you ready to rock ala Nicole!
