Neutrogena Visibly Clear | #SeeWhatsPossibleSA
HotNeutrogena has recently launched two new products in their spot free range to help cover and correct spots and breakouts by preventing them at the same so I was excited to test these out for myself. I have some discolouration and hyper pigmentation in some areas of my face due to sun damage over the years and Ive been looking for a product to lighten my skin as well as cover and correct my hormonal breakouts I get each month. So I was extremely excited to try these two new products from Neutrogena. I love exfoliating my skin and scrubbing the top dead layer from my skin and I exfoliate more often than I probably should, but some exfoliant scrubs can be a little harsh on your skin for everyday use and thats why I fell in love with the Neutrogena visibly clear correct and perfect complexion scrub. The scrub contains micro-beads which gently exfoliates your skin without stripping your skin of its natural moisture and oils which leaves your skin feeling hydrated and soft after each wash. I started using the complexion scrub just before my hormonal breakout or usual pimple appears and for me its usually around my mouth and chin area which is very common for most women. I continued using the complexion scrub through my menstrual cycle to see if it would actually prevent and correct my breakout when my skin was at its worst, and no pimple in sight… I definitely recommend the complexion scrub to anyone as it has honestly improved the appearance of my skin in just 2 weeks. In combination with the complexion scrub Neutrogena also brought out a new CC cream which compliments the scrub for an overall even complexion and to cover any spots you might have, and again correcting them at the same time. I love makeup products with skincare benefits so already I had high expectations to start with, but for someone who loves a full coverage flawless look I would not recommend using this CC cream with a full glam look. However, for a very simple daytime look as shown in my video on my youtube channel its perfect if you just want a simple look without looking too perfect. And although its not recommended to wear makeup to the gym, sometimes you just don't feel confident enough in your own natural skin and need a little bit of extra help. I loved wearing the Neutrogena visibly clear correct and perfect CC cream as a quick cover up for running errands, going to the gym and quick daytime meetings. The CC cream comes in two different shades, light and medium which is little bit of a downfall for our ethnic ladies out there unfortunately. My skin type is combination to dry, but during winter months its a bit more on the dry side, so If you have dry skin I would recommend applying your daily moisturiser to help evenly distribute the product onto your skin as it is a oil-free cream and tends to cling to any dry patches you might have. Oil based products generally clog your pores a lot easier if worn often and for long periods at a time, so I understand why Neutrogena removed oil from their CC cream to correct and prevent any spots of breakouts you might have. Price wise, both the complexion scrub and the CC cream retails for R99.95 and can be found at any Dischem Pharmacies and Clicks stores. Thank you to The Beauty Bulletin team for introducing me to this amazing new range from Neutrogena because it has honestly made me feel more confident in my own skin to conquer the day and to #SeeWhatsPossible.
