NARS Blush in Orgasm

This is every makeup addicts dream blush! Nars is a bit expensive for us South Africans, but this product is well worth the money paid!
The powder itself is sultry and velvety, and the pigment is the perfect blend of pink and peach hues to give ANYONE an orgasmic flush look on their cheeks - healthy, happy and pretty too!
Applied on the with the proper blusher brush you cannot go wrong with this item! It will literally make you look like a good girl with a naughty little secret, and we all love that!

I have entered your competition and this blush looks so stunning!I hope i get to try out this stunning blush!i always wanted to own a NARS product :) So pretty,all the reviews i have read were positive.

Quite often I tend to steer clear of over-hyped products, the reason being they usually never live up to their cult like status. I also prefer more pink blush shades or bronzers. The peach look just doesn’t work for me.

When asking what products my SA readers wished were available here I was flooded with messages and many of them were specifying NARS blush in Orgasm. I had already decided on the Urban Decay Naked palette and thought it would be a fun play on a theme to go with NARS Orgasm as a secondary prize.

I purchased one for myself to test out and was literally blown (yes more puns) away. The texture of this blush is so soft and the actual granules are so super fine. One sweep of blush instantly woke up my entire look and I looked refreshed but at the same time it was so subtle that trying to take a proper swatch or picture of this o my skin was near impossible. It just doesn’t look like I am wearing anything but at the same time it makes such a difference.

Also the shimmery peach is claimed to work on all skin shades and so far this has been true too. It blends in evenly and naturally. Definitely a cult product that lives up to its promises.

Walking through the amazing Duty Free "mall" at Bangkok's Suvanabhumi Airport, I was trying to muster all the shopping power I had to finish up the last bit of baht stuffed in my purse. I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw the rows and rows of fabulous make-up and skin care at one of their awesome megastores.


I gave in to all the twitter hype, I bought the NARS Orgasm Blush. I think I also bought NARS just because it is NARS "the cult classic" and you can't really get it in South Africa


NARS Orgasm makes cheeks blush a perfect pinky-peach flush and subtly highlights with accents of golden shimmer.A soft, sheer pressed highly pigmented powder blush that is universally flattering. NARS Blush offers a range of translucent, natural shades, each with a subtle pink for natural blush undertone, created to highlight the complexion.
Don't be afraid of the gold shimmer, with a light hand it truly is a fantastic highlighter, not at all disco-trashy. Gave me a glamourous yet not over-the top look and it is also suitable for daytime wear. I also like that it has a bit of peach to it. At first I was also overwhelmed with the gold factor but I usually lightly wear my MAC Twist and buff a bit of this over especially the apple of the cheek and towards the nose so it has a sculpting effect
So if you get a chance to get hold of it - it's a great buy.

While walking through Bangkok's airport teary eyed before departing home feeling really down and depressed the heaven's opened up when I saw a NARS counter staring back at me. Ofcourse I rushed over there and went straight to see if they had Nars blush in Orgasm and they did :) Hallelujah

I opened it up and it was PINK with lots of GOLD shimmer not at all what I was expecting O_o. I thought I was gonna open it and the most beautiful shade will be staring back at me but alas it was not. Seriously it does not look like the picture I've attached the gold shimmer is very obvious in the tray.

However once you apply it to your cheeks and its SETTLED in then it gives you a peachy pinked flush look the gold shimmer does not look that shimmery any longer and the colour is gorgeous but I still wouldnt wear it during the day. I guess its cause Im so use to wearing my cha cha tint that anything with a shimmer will be too much for me for daytime but I can see why its so loved.

Converting the price it was just under R250 tax free in the airport.
