My Review: Neutrogena Visibly Even Foaming Cleanser

I have very sensitive skin but I found this cleanser to be quite gentle with my skin. It leaves my skin moisturised and feeling clean.Its been 2 weeks and I love it!

This is my go-to cleanser. I love how it exfoliates and I definitely see a difference in my skin when I use it. I don't get break outs anymore.

After reading great reviews about this product, I though let me try the whole range (Cleanser and Moisturiser). I work mostly outdoors and my skin has suffered greatly due to sun exposure etc. A week after using it I saw great improvement to my skin tone, complexion was radiant, every one was complementing me on the beautiful glow I had, It delivers on what it promises, which is even tone and a radiant glow, However if you have sensitive skin STAY AWAY from it. It broke me out so badly, I was left with a badly broken out face weeks for weeks!!

This product has done wonders to my skin. it provides me with the SPF 15 i need for protecting my skin from the sun. my skin is looking brighter and more alive. it has made a change in only a month and i wonder how much more of an effect it will have with continued use.i have already recommended it to loads of people. my skin is soft and my pores are reduced. its not oily and it is a great moisturizer.

I am sorry that this has taken so long but I did have some trouble posting. This face wash is very good, as part of the Visibly Even range, it doesn't dry put skin while exfoliating gently. It has a good consistency and nice smell that isn't strong. It copes well with most make up, long wearing foundation needs two washes but double washing is always best anyway. I like it and do buy it myself anyway.

Love this product is amazing I have a very dry skin and it doesn't make it any drier its nice and foamy and smells amazing too, its just a little expensive for a student.

I was sent this amazing product to review and I made sure I used it for at least a month so I could give you ladies a real review.

From the first week of use I could see the difference in my skin tone.It was my brighter and much more clean.It helped to make my pores smaller.
It cleansed my skin without drying it out and leaving that peachy soft feeling.

The fragrance is very feminine without being overpowering.It lasts really long.Even after using it for a month I still have a lot left.Because it's a foam cleanser it only needs a drop of the product to do the work.Different than other scrub which leaves your skin dry and you need to use a lot of the product.

I must say it did not remove or reduced my freckles(pigmentation).That is the only thing I can say that it did not deliver for me.I think if I would have used it together with the same line moisturizer it would have had more effect.

I am really happy to continue using the product and recommend it.

I loved this product. The first time I used it I was surprised at the creaminess. It is silky and forms a lovely smooth creamy sensation on the skin. The exfoliation is very mild and I continued to use it for the week.
After the first week I did however notice that my skin was getting smoother and my dark marks were beginning to lighten. I did however also feel that my skin was getting a bit dryer than usual. I did continue for t the next week. After the second week there was a further lightening of the dark spots on my face. I noticed that I couldn't use the product every evening and morning as it was drying my skin out too much and started to only use it in the evening. This worked very well as it removes make-up very easily with it's exfoliation and cleansing qualities. I even used it on my daughters arms as a light exfoliation as she is sometimes prone to little bumps of dry skin on her arms and this worked very well. She is 3.5 years old. After the 4 weeks had finished, which was yesterday. I noticed that my skin is smooth, no bumps, my dark marks have become noticeably lighter and I will continue to use it going forward. Really loved this product, but don't suggest to people to use it twice a day if they are prone to having dry skin.

So who do I thank................Neutrogena all the way.

I'm a 41 year old and I have been on the lookout for something to take away those dark pigmentation marks on my cheeks. Also tried other products under the sun, everything on telly etc. And here a month later I can actually see less and less of those dark spots........
Easy to use no mess no fuss.........cant help looking at my reflection whenever I walk past a mirror.....My husband commented on this and I just smile...........Thanx to You Neutrogena.............Definitely ready to try the other products in this range

Its been almost a month since my last update as I have been unwell.

I have seen an improvement on my skin since using this product, my skin looks more even, large pores refined and so soft.

I totally recommend this for splotchy, sun-damaged skin.

There's still a lot of product in the tube after with daily use.

All in all, good cleanser.

I am turning 49 in December and still suffers from blemishes, uneven skin tone due to blemishes, black heads on my T-zone and sun damage.

Not any more! I have been using Visibly Even for a bit longer than a month now, and I am still amazed to look at a now almost even skin in the mirror. Not only did it even out my skin tone and faded away the marks left by blemishes, my blackheads are almost an ugly thing of the past, my pores reduced, with the result that I am glowing!!!!

Seeing that this is the very first time that I have used any Neutrogena product and got such an amazing result, I am going to try ALL the products for my skin type and I am quite convinced that I will end up using the range for years to come.

So I thought I would wait a complete month before writing my review on this fantastic facial cleanser.I was able to judge this because I have dark spots on my cheeks and dark areas around my bottom lip. I noticed it has definitely become lighter and less noticeable. After week 1 I could already see the difference, family started commenting on how radiant my face is looking.By week 3 my face looks as if its gone a shade lighter, the dark areas are less visible & with a bit of foundation my face looks flawless. Now after week 4 my face feels as if there's more life in it, it doesn't look as dull as it use to look. With my face as clear as it is now it definitely has boosted my confidence, I get compliments all the time :)

Please see the attached picture of my face looking flawless after using this product. The product is easy to use, it removes all make-up with no effort & has a lovely fresh smell to it.

Wow Neutrogena.

I've tried several Neutrogena products before (Sesame seed Body oil, Oil free makeup remover, Hand creams) and once again am amazed at the results.

I was chosen as one of the reviewers for the foamimg cleanser. Excitement started once I received my tracking number and could not wait to receive the product. I started researching the results claimed and product background so I knew what to judge the cleanser against. I then too decided to purchase the visibly even daily moisturizer to hopefully achieve effective results.

Morning 1: Upon receiving the cleanser I must admit the packaging entices you to use the product.Being a Neutrogena fan,I know the packaging is simple and no fuss with impacting product results. No fancy, complicated, expensive packaging that costs 80% of the product cost.
The first thing that put a smile on my face was the smell, a fresh,sweet smell that you would want to wake up to. The squeeze bottle is perfect for a daily scrub, you can control the amount of product you use. With that in mind, you actually don't need much cleanser as it foams.
So, I read a few complaints online about the cleanser not foaming much....Has anyone ever seen a scrub that foams?
I understand why its called a foaming cleanser. When you squeeze a pea sized amount into your hands, and add water, the cleanser foams into a lather. The foaming is not the mousse type, as the cleanser has the component of a scrub too. I love the idea of the foaming scrub cleanser as I would use my previous face cleanser and add a seperate scrub to remove dead skin cells as my skin does get dry with the change of seasons. The cleanser is perfect for a daily light scrub, especially if you wear makeup on a daily basis.

Week one passed as my skin felt smoother, appeared healthier and looked brighter. I used the cleanser in conjunction with the visibly even daily moisturizer, and the results yielded were exactly as promised. So far, the promises made by Neutrogena were visible and noticible.

After week 2 I noticed that the smoothness of my skin was improved. I had a silky feel to my skin. I never had a problem with acne before so my biggest challenge was pore size, brightness and sun blemished skin. These were the problem areas targeted by the visibly even range.

Week 3 was interesting. I started wearing less foundation as there was less to cover up. The reason I wear makeup is: 1. I love the chance to express myself, 2: Evening skin tone with the use of foundation.
A tip I can give to the BB ladies who have dry skin is to apply some kind of deep moisturizer at night to avoid your skin drying out. I alternated with the E45 Moisturizing Cream and Bio-oil. This prevented the daily scrub use from drying out my skin. Living at the coast and working a walk away from the ocean has damaging effects to your skin in winter. After week 3 with a new winter skincare routine in place, I can only look forward to a summer not having to cover up with as much foundation. If 3 weeks yields these results, what could 6 months do? I will tell you this, I will definitely keep all you lovely ladies updated on a monthly basis, only brighter and more even skin tone is to come!

A lovely product suited to most skin types.

I received this cleanser to try.
The instructions told me to use a dime size amount... Being from SA I have no idea what size a dime is but I squeezed out a little bit on to my hand. Probably about the size of a 20c coin. This turned out to be a bit too much! This is good news as it will mean a tube will last me quite a while, and then making it worth the money I spent on it.

The cleanser turned in to a rich lather with a couple of exfoliating beads in. The lather did not disappear after coming into contact with the oils on my face, like many cleansers do. It lasted long enough for me to be able to really wash my face and get the full benefit of the beads.

It does a nice job of cleaning too... your skin feels super squeaky clean but not totally dried out.

My face is silky smooth & soft today...

So far I have no cons to this product. I have not seen the "visibly even" results yet but will keep using it anyway!

My verdict... 5 stars!
I will definitely be buying this product in future.

Foaming cleanser right? A mass of bubbles of air or gas in a matrix of liquid film, especially an accumulation of fine, frothy bubbles formed in or on the surface of a liquid, as from agitation or fermentation.

Okay, so I started using my product and I was expecting some foam but I was disappointed. I love bubbles you know lol.

When I got my Neutrogena Foaming Cleanser I was excited to try it, I mean the brand just sells itself (no need for the foaming). It comes in a simple packaging, nothing super fancy lol. I tried it and I loved that it was more of a scrub so exfoliating, I could feel those little pallets (I don't know what they call them) on my face and that creamy lather. It's awesome, I was goble-smacked. My skin felt so smooth a baby's bum would be jealous I tell you. Such an awesome feeling I kid you not, I even bought myself the Visibly Even Daily Moisturiser and now it's even toned.

The combination is out of this world. I will continue buying the range, I am very happy with the outcome.

This product is amazing. I was initially sceptic,but was amazingly surprised as it left my skin feeling naturally soft and moisturized.

I love this cleanser, it is soft and gentle on my skin and does not make my skin go reddish as other cleansers does.

I received the neutrogena cleanser to review... after 3 weeks of use.. i haven't seen much difference in the brightness of my skin . I have to admit though that my skin does feel slightly smoother however i am dissapointed in the foaming action of this cleanser... it doesn't foam much and would've been nicer if it was slightly more grainier to remove the really stubborn dead skin cells....

i haven't been converted into a neutrogena user though... i will continue to try to find my perfect cleanser :)

I have received the cleanser for review and at a glance the packing looks good and i love the fact that it has soy bean extract , when i cleansed my face with it i loved the scrub in it as it was not too rough and is good for daily exfoliation , the texture is heavenly and leaves skin feeling moisturized and silky soft , the fragrance is so beautiful and make me feel like a pampered princess . i have not seen any lightening of uneven areas of my skin i think because i have been using it for just a week now ... will complete my review after 4 weeks for the effectiveness of the product

Wow what can I say,neutrogena does not disappoint!I have been using this product for 2 weeks now and have noticed that my skin is softer and brighter,I use a pea-sized amount daily,it forms a creamy foam when you lather,this product will last me for months,therfore it is worth it for its price!thank you beauty bulletin!

After 2 weeks of using this cleanser my skin is soft, doesn't feel stripped of moisture even when I don't moisturise.

I have been struggling with hyperpigmentation for a while now and while I want it gone; I prefer using gentle products that will gradually fade the splotches.

In addition to using a Vitamin C based moisturiser, I use this once a day and it has helped with regards to brightening the damaged areas on my face.

Will continue to use and update as I go along.

This cleanser sells itself. I will most definitely buy this product.

Never before have I been this committed to a beauty product…. I usually forget about them or become to lazy to use them after day 3, but I have been trying this product for one week now, and I have to admit, I can already feel a difference.

I love the nice smelling foaming texture of the cleanser, and after washing my face with it, I do not get that “all cracked-up” feeling that I usually get with other cleansers. As soon as I get out of the bath, I also moisturise my face with Justine’s Tissue Oil Body Protector, just for the extra protection against the very dry winter air we have here in the Vaal.

My skin does feel softer over-all and I can notice a slight more even skin tone. With regards to “radiance”, I don’t think I will be able to comment on that, our bathroom is a bit dull & gloomy at 6 in the mornings, and natural lighting is not existing, and by the time I get out into direct sunlight, I have already splashed on some make-up, but I have to admit, there is days where I will dare tippy toe out of the house without any make-up on, so yes, I am pretty sure that it does make a difference regarding the “radiance” of my face. My face also feels a lot smoother and it is as if my foundation applies on a lot easier.

I have to admit, I really enjoyed testing this product, it made me feel famous as I sat starring at myself in the bathroom mirror in the morning, all foamed up, configuring my words for the review, knowing that a few of you might even go as far as reading it.

But in a nutshell, a good product which I might even consider a long term relationship with…

I've never tried any of Neutrogena's products and I have been using this cleanser for almost two weeks now. The result are amazing. It leaves my skin smooth and it isn't harsh on the skin.

Its a great buy and I will continue to use this product. You do not have to use a lot on your face and therefore it is worth it for the price you pay.

Obviously everybody has different skin types and different reaction to certain products but try out this Cleanser by Neutrogena, you can not go wrong with it.

I was given the opportunity to review the Neutrogena visibly even foaming cleanser.
I have a combination skin with an uneven skintone.I am currently using this product and want to finish the whole bottle.

This is a cream cleanser with exfoliating beads inside.
This cleanser smells good .I can't really describe what it smells like, but i love it. It comes in a 150 ml easy to use tube, which i prefer in a face wash. This product claims to improve radiance, helps uneven skintone and remove dead skin cells, dirt and oil.
I have been using this product for quite some time now and i really have to say that i am so impressed! I did see results. I've noticed that there is definitely an improvement in my pigmentation marks, after i washed my face my skin looked more even. It removes all the dead skin cells, my skin looked more radiant and it was immediately smoother and softer. What i really like about this cleanser is the fact that it's a scrub and a cleanser in one and it will last you so long, you only need a little bit, it foams up nicely and removes all the dirt and oil. Another reason i like this product - its affordable !

I will definitely recommend this product to everyone that's struggling with an uneven skin tone. After my bottle is finished, i will DEFINITELY buy this product again and continue using this. I love the way it feels on my skin. It just goes to show that you don't have to spend a fortune on great products!

Been using this cleanser for a week now, its an exfoliant but its gentle on my skin.

I use it after removing makeup and it leaves my skin feeling soft, fresh, clean but not stripped, not drying at all.

I have yet to see the Even-ing effects but I really like it so far.

PS. There very little foaming, if at all on MY skin.

My friend introduced me to this product. I have not used Neutrogena face washes, so it was my first time. I would definitely purchase it for myself. My skin did not feel tight or dry after washing it, it felt smooth and soft. One also does not need a large amount because it foams and goes a long way.

Loving this cleanser a lot! It's so soft and creamy (NOT greasy) and makes my skin feel so smooth and soft afterwards. Very quick results in giving me a more even skin tone and I'm very impressed so far.

First off, this product is wonderful! I have been using it for many years and although the packaging has changed a bit, the product has remained the same - high quality.

It is a gentle exfoliator and I find that it is effective in removing dry skin particles that show up from time to time and make your skin look blotchy. It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth and well nourished too, which is strange for a soap product as I have a very sensitive skin.

The granules in the cleanser are fine and don't hurt or irritate the skin as some exfoliators tend to do. It isn't a big 'foamer' but I usually squeeze a bit on my palm and rub it between my hands until it creates some bubbles before using. The creamy feeling on your skin after you rinse, is awesome - I marvel at how soft it feels every time!

The only negative I have about this product, is perhaps in the packaging. I find it hard to use in the shower as the opening (spout) is soooo small, that you struggle like mad to squeeze the product out of the tube. If you are bathing, it's best to have it floating in the bathtub so that the mixture can soften and squeeze out easier. The hole is WAY TOO SMALL and I end up with a mangled tube every time I wash. Someone should really have a look at that design.

But, since we're talking about the product, I feel that you can't go wrong. It's a gentle product and I have found a lot of benefit in using it. My makeup also applies easier once I have sloughed off the dead skin. Definate THUMBS UP!

PS: This is a GENTLE exfoliator, if you're looking for a belt sander, this is not the product for you :o) It is, however, a winner for delicate skin like mine.

I bought this a few months ago as my skin was becoming really dry and I wanted to try something different from my usual so opted for the visibly even by Neutrogena.
Firstly the size of the tube is a bonus and light fragrance is something I love in a cleanser. The product is thick and easy to use, leaving your skin feeling fresh and clean with no dryness.
My skin improved after using this and I no longer have the dry patches on my face, in addition, I have lash extensions and the product did not destroy them which proved to me that this is not harsh at all for your skin

Fetched my tube yesterday, got to use it this morning.

Firstly the cleanser comes in a generously sized tube, nicely packaged. The cleanser itself has a thick, creamy consistency with a light fragrance and for me had minimal foaming and left no dryness at all..

I love that the exfoliating beads do not feel gritty and harsh on my skin, so that renders it safe to use daily. The fact that it contains Vit C is a huge plus for me, will update as I continue using this.

Lots of pro's and cons with this product, but it is effective and works well with my skin which tends to dry up with some products but not with the neutrogena visibly even cleanser.

Would recommend this product, so give it a try!!
