There are a host of anti-aging skincare products on the market and it is not always easy to know which to choose. Some products cost a lot, but don’t show the benefits they boast about, whilst others are relatively inexpensive, but give you a whole lot of bang for your buck!
These anti-aging products all do what they say they do:
Garnier’s Skin Naturals Lift Anti-Wrinkle Firming Day Cream ( SPF 15) contains natural ingredients including ginger to improve the elasticity of the skin, restore firmness and reduce wrinkles. This is one of those products that does the job but is light on your pocket ( I think it was around R128,00 when I last bought it).
Olay’s Regenerist range is absolutely amazeballs! My two favs are Olay Regenerist Thermal Mini Peel ( R390,00) and Olay Regenerist 3-point treatment cream (R330,00). The mini peel contains glycolic acid and a micro-crystal formula designed to gently remove dead skin cells and polish the skin to improve the skin’s texture and appearance. You get the results of a professional mini peel in the comfort of your own home and I love that it’s thermal, so it warms up on your skin! I just love gimmicky things like that. The 3-point treatment cream targets the eyes, jawline and neck (the three commonest areas to show aging – eek… turkey neck and jowls are never a good look!). It contains high levels of aminopeptides which assist in improving collagen production and increasing cellular turnover.
L’Oreal’s Dermagenesis range works like a bomb and also doesn’t break the bank. This range contains Pro-Xylane and Hyluronic acid which improve elasticity and plumpness of the skin to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. I particularly love the eye cream in this range, as I saw results in about a week of use!
Pond’s Gold Radiance range is definitely worth a try! The serum in this range contains flakes of real gold particles and Vitamin B3 to improve texture, radiance and skin tone, as well as to reduce the appearance of fine lines. This serum really is a bargain buy at only R215,00 when last I checked.
So if you are looking to try a new skin care range, perhaps give one of these a go and don’t forget to let me know what you think!
