Hot
January 23, 2012
Sold exclusively by professional salons the product is animal-friendly and comes in a slim turquoise and brown 100ml pump-action bottle. Apply a small amount to damp or dry hair and style as usual. The secret to the product’s success is Argan oil. Found only in southwest Morocco (hence the name) this powerful antioxidant, UV protector and free radical neautralizer, is rich in vitamins – all of which help to strengthen and create elasticity in your hair.

I received a sample size bottle of Moroccanoil and it was the first hair oil I had ever tried... and it changed my life!
It appears to make hair oily when first applied but sinks in within a few minutes and leaves a gorgeous, glossy smooth finish.
Split ends and dry hair texture seem to completely vanish!
It gets rid of frizz and static too.
And the smell is amazing!
Love the turquoise blue that is their packagings signature colour. The only thing that might make the bottle better is if it had a pump cap so that you dont have to risk pouring too much out.
I haven't found a hair oil that matches this one but unfortunately it is quite pricey at about R475 :/ (though I am sure it lasts a long time since a little goes a long way) a bit out of my budget :(

Ladies if you have been pondering whether to buy MoroccanOil Treatment (it’s a bit pricey right) I would say go grab your wallet and invest in super shiny silky hair. This was the first time I used a hair oil on my hair, and was a bit sceptical because I have fine hair that gets oily quick. I only used it on my ends after I towel dried my hair. I PROMISE you your hair will feel super soft, the smell is amazing and i swear my hair stayed cleaner for longer..don’t ask me how but it did and I even touched my hair more than usual (because it felt amazing. The bottle will last ages because you only need a drop or two for shoulder length hair..I don’t get excited about hair care products very often but this is IT!

I love this brand. The oils consistency is thick, so I only apply a small amount after blowdrying my hair. It smells amazing, and makes my hair so soft and managable. No more tangles. It is a bit pricey though, but because you only need to use a small amount at a time makes it a good buy.

I received a small sample of the Moroccan Oil treatment oil in the regular and the light versions, in the latest retail box. And wow! Amazing stuff! I usually use the Goldwell Elixir, but think I'll be moving over to these when I'm done. Light one for summer and the regular one for winter!
I love the little sample bottles I received too, as I can use them for travelling and just refill them, rather than cart a full-sized product with me!

Although everybody, including my hair dresser, boasted about this product to me, it did not go very well with my hair as it tended to be oily no matter how small the drop that I used was. It did however tend to work for both my sister and mother who both have curly hair

I have used pure oils on my hair for around 15 years after an Indian lady told me how to oil my hair. Actually- after my sister went mahogany to bleached blonde to orange to black in one week- I recommended she use coconut oil on her hair every third day- that was all that kept her from losing all her hair. Hairdressers will tell you how bad oils are. It's only to keep product sales up. I use coconut oil once a month, a lot of it, massaged through my whole head. Just put a towel over your pillow and sleep like that. The next day you will need to shampoo it really well, twice. It's remarkable. I also use pure Argan (get it at Dischem), so I was quite excited to have a friend bring me a bottle of Morrocanoil. I was quite dissapointed as i expected a bigger percentage of argan in it. It's better than other products I have tried but nowhere near the real deal. I'm not sure what other ingredients might be in. It did make my hair shinier but you have to regularly use it to notice the effect where as with a pure oil, a deep condition once to twice a month is enough. For colored hair, I'd say once a week. It smells divine though.

I have very dry, brittle and frizzy hair, ladies do yourself a favour and go for this Moroccan Oil Treatment, my hair is silky soft, the dryness is gone and it's more manageable, this is a miracle treat that you have to have, just a pity not all the salons uses Moroccan Oil Treatments, like i said miracle in a bottle for dry and brittle hair.

This product works well. My thick, curly, dry, difficult, unruly and whatever else hair – needed some extra help and I decided to give it a try.
The Moroccan Oil Treatment is full of silicone and it does smell like laboratories but …I was pleasantly surprised by the result : soft and shiny hair.

I have curly frizzy hair and struggle to find products that I can use that don't weight down my hair and make it look greasy. My hairdresser said that they had got in a delivery for Moroccan Oil, I had never used it before and she only had one bottle let (R380) and I wasn't sure but thought that if there was only one left it must be good. So I bought it and since buying this from my hairdresser I have had fabulous hair. I like to wash and go in the morning and normally have to do something to tame my hair and now with this it makes it sop easy!

Despite the fact that I was about to hit the beach, I’d heard so much about how fantastic this product was from the girls in the know that I couldn’t wait to try it. As soon as I had it in my grubby paws, I rubbed a penny-sized amount in my long colour-treated hair - after all I figured, if I didn’t like it, it would wash out as soon as I had a swim.
But I needn’t have fretted. While the product contains the brand’s signature ingredient, Argan oil, the product is ultra-light and instantly absorbed. Unlike oil, the product doesn’t coat the hair – it penetrates the cuticle and fills the gap of hydration - neither my hand nor my hair felt oily and I was pleasantly surprised to still smell the slightly sweet MoroccanOil in my hair after several salty dips.
I’m embarrassed to admit that although I'd exposed my hair to sand, sun, sunscreen and sea, I went to bed without washing my locks…But was thrilled the next morning when instead of the usual dry, brttle bird's nest, my hair felt soft and nourished. Amazing!
I’ve been using MoroccanOil Treatment for less than a week and already my hair – which has seen plenty of the outdoors over the summer months - is feeling and looking healthier and shiner.
