Mistake proof pink Brush on Gel Nails

The kit contains 48 false clear tips with easy removable applicator tabs, Brush on Gel, Gel activator, Brush cleaner, Emery board with which to buff, a cuticle stick and easy to follow instructions. This kit promises to give you salon gel nails at a fraction of a cost, no buffing needed only smooth shiny nails, no odor or uv light. I love the idea that it gives you a D.I.Y version of gel nails at a fraction of the cost of salons, and the instructions were easy to follow and my nails dried in under 30 mins. The really sad part is that this kit fell short of my expectations. It says no buffing, when in actual fact u do need to buff, and the false nails kind of broke off or became jagged at the joints in the process. The picture on the box shows natural pink gel nails which are beautiful, and mine looked nothing like that. After applying 2 coats of gel and activator, the gel did not have a pink tint, it was still clear, and the joint between my natural nail and false nail were clearly visible, and my nails were bumpy. I followed the instructions to the letter on all 10 nails, and got the same unsatisfied result each time. The concept is great, and the price is great, but unfortunately the results weren't :(
