Ok, I am busy so I need a lipstick with staying power. If you are looking for a solution that is really long-wear, I am talking a gym session, then straight to office, then school pick-up, lunch, I can recommend these ladies. There will still be a trace/stain of this lipstick after your shower so be sure to have a long-wear makeup remover on hand should you want to get this off. It has a 2 step approach, first the colour, then a two min wait until it dries, then you apply the other side, which looks like a lip ice which adds the moisture! It delivers on its claims and also comes in a lot of colours. I am a lover of a nude/natural lip look & the collection had a lot on offer, I chose the Natural Flush & In The Nude.

This was my go to for long lasting lip products for years. However, I just find that the formula can become patchy through the day, and often dries my lips.

I am in love with red colour as it complements my mahogany skin colour that brings that African beauty out of me. Lol

I'm not normally a fan of liquid lipsticks, as they tend to end up looking sloppy after minimal wear. However, I'm starting to think that I just haven't found the perfect formula yet and this might just be the one...

Maybelline Stay 24 Ultimate Red promises up to 24h of sleek red colour. While this claim seems a little too good to be true, I'm finding the lasting power of this two-step formula rather impressive. Step 1 is the liquid colour and Step 2 is a balm to top it off. The colour dries beautifully to a true blue-toned red, perfect for looking glam and making teeth appear whiter. After it sets, it does not budge or smudge in the slightest.

To be honest, I ignored Step 2 as I prefer a more matte finish to my lippie and I'm dedicated to my Kiehl's #1 Lip Balm. I would perhaps use a lip brush to apply the product more tidily, as I'm not a fan of sponge lipgloss-style applicators. All in all, this is a great budget product to pick up for that classic red lip look. Don't miss out!
