Maybelline Mineral Power Naturally Luminous Blush

This is a great product. I suffer with skin problems, i use this and it is very light on my skin. You cannot even notice that you have anything on your face. The application part is messy, and tens to go everywhere due to it being a loose powder, but DO NOT let that put you off this product! I wear this with Maybelline Dream Mattee Mouse foundation, and the coverage it beyond amazing. It covers all my scars, and breakouts

best blush I have used in years

While this blush is definitely a good price and quality, I found that I'd have to touch up during the day and if I went clubbing I'd touch up at least once, as the blush tends to wear off.

The colour was amazing though, and I battle to find a colour I like as much as this!

i was so happy to see such a nice colour blush in my goodie bag, thanks bb! i always wanted a good blush to brighten up my face, and i could never find the right colour. Since using this, i ditched my estee lauder rose blush (shock horror) and always use this new one. a little goes a looooong way, and its such a pretty peach pink. it spreads and blends easily on my cheeks, and instantly gives my face a healthy glow.

First off the colour is called Gentle Pink, and for me it's not exactly a subtle pink. In the tub it's a bright, hot pink and on your skin it's more subtle but also quite a vibrant pink colour. A bit of a messy product, but the container closes nicely, so there isn't any wastage.

I love the texture of this blush. It's silky and very soft. Nicely pigmented and leaves your skin with a beautiful glow. It's very natural if used sparingly. It really glides on so smoothly and is most definitely luminous, but not shimmery. A very lovely blusher for sure.

I got this blush for only R25 from a Clicks clearance sale. Maybelline is not usually my brand of choice but of course I couldn't walk past something on sale LOL. It turned out to be a nice product.

True Peach shade has a beautiful warm peach tint. The powder comes loose in the package and gets distributed though a sifter. It is a bit hard to control how mush blush will get on your brush if you dip it into the container on top of the sifter. The first time I tried to do that I ended up looking like a clown because my cheeks were so bright. The second time around I just poured some into the lid and then dipped my brush in there. This blush is very pigmented you really need only a tiny bit. When I got the amount right, it gave me a perfect peachy flush. Really refreshing and youthful glow. It contains no shimmer which is nice as well because you can always add some shimmer with a highlighter if you need any.

What I don't like about the product is that the packaging is a bit small and you need a smaller blush brush to fit into the small round space.

I think this is a lovely blush for summer! It gives my cheeks a natural glow without being too shimmery.
