Maybelline Mascara One by One

My favourite mascara! Lengthens, thickens, easy to use and very black! I've had people asking me if I have lash extensions on when wearing this mascara!

I cannot count the number of times I have stabbed myself in the eyeball with this mascara brush! The hard plastic bristles make it quite difficult to really coat the lashes and I found it wasn't as volumising as I was expecting.

I have fairly long lashes but found that this mascara didn't do much for me. It clumps and doesn't fulfil its promise to separate lashes one by one!

I wouldn't recommend this product - there are loads of fantastic mascaras in the Maybelline range that do a much better job!

I bought this as I haven't used a Maybelline mascara for ages. I like the look of the brush as I much prefer comb like bristles and it helps with last seperation and lengthening. I found that even though the brush head is big, it was easy to use and I didn't poke my eyes out.

This created great volume and thickened up my lashes quite a bit without any clumping. Luckily for me, I have a natural upward curl so this worked great. I bought the washable version and surprising there was no panda eyes or flaking later on in the day which is a huge bonus! I really like this mascara and is value for money.

I bought this at Foschini and it retails for R120 but I'm sure its cheaper at Dischem.

Seperated lashes nicely and lasts for long as it is waterproof. Onnly downfall it is harder to remove as it is waterproof. Nice for everyday use.
