Maybelline Color Show 60 Seconds

I got this polish in the colour "Love this sweater" and I think it was the 1st time in my life that I used up an ENTIRE bottle of polish! This colour is right on trend with the whole Kylie Jenner colour phenomena which was everything mauve and muted...It is this mauve light brown, almost dirty fudge colour...and it went with everything I own in my closet! 1 Coat gets you full coverage with a more subtle and creamy finish. 2 Coats make it fully opaque and easily noticeable which I loved.

The price is great and the packaging is cute. It did not have the square brush tip but a traditional one which still applied it perfectly. The colour lasts very nicely as well. I have seen other brands try to match this shade but it is always a little too light or too brown when compared. This one is a keeper.

I am really impatient so I love how quickly this nail polish dries. I have the nail polish in the shade 'Black Magic ' and looks great with just a couple of layers.

This is such a great product at a very affordable price. The colour selection is amazing and I currently own the following 3 shades:

Midnight Taupe (dark cool toned taupe)
Peach Pie (light peachy gel effect)
Superpower Blue (very vibrant teal)

I love the quality and the staying power of these nail polishes. Be aware that a base coat is a must when applying the darker colours as they do stain.

I am definitely going to purchase more of these.

Colour
I have the Maybelline ColourShow nail polish in Mauve Kiss (shade 150), which is a nude, beige shade. It is my favourite shade as it is so neutral and matches with any outfit.

Packaging
Nothing extra special out the bottle but it is nice and clean and simple. It has a medium size brush for fast application with little streaking and mess .

Application & Effect
This is a fast drying nail polish and really does dry in 60 seconds.
2 coats is enough for great colour. And no top coat is needed with this.
It has a medium shine once dry, not too glossy but not matte. I will definitely try the metallic shades though, they look great!

Longevity
Its fairly long wearing, lasts about 5-7 days, depending how much you work with your hands. Its mostly chip resistant .

Price
It retails for about R40 so its really affordable, especially compared to other make up brand nail polishes!

I love these polishes. The colours are great and they are definitely long lasting. One of my favourite nail polish selections at the moment.

It takes a lot for me to REALLY LOVE a nail polish, as there are just so many of them out there and most of them lasts the same amount of time on me. Three days is my limit for a nail polish to last and I am still in search for that perfect nail polish.

This polish was no different. Lasts 3 days before it starts chipping away.
But!
I really like this polish.
The brush makes for very easy application, the colour payoff is really good and this range has a HUGE range of colours to suit everyone's needs.

This is a product I will definitely repurchase again. Mainly because it is affordable and there are so many shades to choose from!

So as I said in my previous review, I am not a nail polish girl, so when I received these products I was pretty amped to give it a go.
For a first timer, I have to admit that I was really happy with this product.
The application was easy (especially for a newbie) and there has hardly or no mess, and the end result was smooth and neat. Plus with the added bonus of it drying rather quickly.
The only negative thing I could say about this, was the colour lol, dark blue really is not a good look for me, but other than that, there really isn't anything else I could say.
I would recommend this product to other ladies, and my sister who gave it a go as well, was really impressed with it as well (and she uses nail polish more than I do).
It definitely one of those few products who get affordability and quality right :)

Bought this on Takealot for R37,i choose 'Downtown red'. The color is lovely on my nails,it took exactly 60 seconds to dry up.Im so happy with my purchase and will be buying more shades from this range
