MARIAH CAREY Lucious Pink EDP

Arriving in 2008, Luscious Pink was developed by perfumers Carlos Benaim and Loc Dong, who described this scent as “a floral melody that is as enveloping as Mariah’s voice”. The romantic bottle created by Jean Antretter, carries the same form as the first fragrance, with pink nuances as well as yellow and light blue contours. The fragrance notes include Scilian Bergamot, Ocean Breeze accord, sparkling Bellini accord, Tahitian Tiare, Lily of the Valley, pink Peony, bright Blonde Wood, creamy Sandalwood, and White Musk.

This is a very floral fragrance for me, as I tend to go for fragrances with a Vanilla base. It encapsulates perfectly the idea of romance, with sweet florals and mysterious scent of musk. I could imagine that this would be a fragance to suit all ages, I wouldn’t wear it everywhere though – it seems like a “first date” scent. It always makes me picture fields of flowers and summer dresses! It draws many compliments and lasts very long, unfortunately not one of my favourite fragrances.
