Mandy's Wax Strips: Face

The strips were to small. It's worse if you have more areas to cover because it means that you have to buy two packs and they weren't as strong as I expected them to be.

Great for removing those fine hairs and the smell isn't that strong so that's a plus plus plus from me

I use these wax strips quite often to clear my upper lip area. The small size of the stripe is perfect, though I do cut it in half for an easier application. One box comes with 3 double sided strips so 6 in total, they last quite long as I use one strip at a time.

Its quick, cheap and quite effective! I have been using these strips for about a year now and have have been pleased with the results.

Used to use this when I was younger. A hack if you do want to use them is to heat up the strips with a blow-drier. The strips are very small and annoying if you have a lot of areas to cover like me but they are a nice size to hit a monobrow. Veet is a lot more effective in one swipe than this because of the quality of the wax and the size of the strips.

I purchased this product today and it literally took off not a single hair and left a whole lot of wax on my upper lip and left an unnecessary bruise. Never buying his again.

I had to reapply the waxing strips to one area as within the first wax not a lot of hairs caught. I waxed my upper lip and it left it sticky and it was hard to remove the residue that it left. Not really a fan.

I don't know if I am doing something wrong but Mandy's wax strips really DID NOT work for me. The wax became gooey and hardly removed any hair at all. I will not re-purchase this product.

I like having facial wax strips handy for those no-time-for-salon situations. If used properly, these wax strips get rid of facial hair effectively. They might be a couple of misses here and there which are taken care by my trusted plucker.

I cannot live without my Mandy's wax strips, I have been using them for as long as I can remember. I am actually terrible when it comes to pain and of course the first thing you think of when you think wax strips is unbearable pain but this is not the case.
I use these strips under my arms as well as my eyebrows. I have not had my eyebrows waxed in a salon for 15 years, done is myself all this time using trusted wax strips.
I would recommend giving this a try, so easy to use, make sure you rub them between your hands before you pull them apart though because this allows the wax to become soft and assists with the effectiveness of the hair removal

If you're a newbie to the waxing scene, here are some tips to ensure the process goes smoothly-

1. always do a sensitivity test, even if you have used the product before. Our skin is always changing and you could also have purchased a bad batch of product.

2. this may seem odd but moisturize your skin several minutes before you wax. Dry skin prevents wax from attaching to hairs.

3. Keep skin taut whilst waxing by either pulling your lower or upper lip over your teeth, or pulling your skin tight with your fingers.

4. If yourskin gets swollen and sore after using the strips, you need to relieve the swelling and close the pores as soon as possible. Grab some ice cubes and apply gently to the inflammed area. Pat dry then apply a cooling aloe vera gel or anti-septic cream.

So,now that youre all equipped with the proper knowledge and this fab, easy to use product. Theres no need to be scared of using wax strips to maintain some hairy situations. Mandy's has made a breeze out of something thats normally associated with pain.
