Actually not a fan of this :(
I bought the facial cream (sensitive), and in 10 seconds after applying to my lip, i felt my skin burning. I immediately washed it off. I could see it burnt the top layer of my skin. The next day i woke up with a massive scab on my top lip !!!
Perhaps my skin was too sensitive.
Still a fan of mandy's wax though

Hi everyone ^_^
Sooo, I know some ladies are really embarrassed about having a bit of a shadow on their upper lip. I'm not really hairy and my upper lip hair is very fine and not really noticeable but I know its there but going to a beautician all the time would be a waste for me.
I've tried facial wax strips before but it was terrible and extremely sore! EEK >_<
So I turned to this facial hair removal cream...
I haven't seen a facial hair removal cream at my local stores before so when I saw this product I had to try it out. I do have sensitive skin when it comes to products like this. I was a bit sketchy at first because it's a new product so there were hardly any reviews about it.
The packaging is simple and so is the instructions.
It's very concise and I thought that was cool.
Contents of the box:
- Skin protect balm 20ml
- Hair removal cream 20ml
Each contoured applicator has a precision tip to make it easy to apply to your face.
The skin protect balm is supposed to soothe your skin but it didn't work for me.
I wasn't 100% satisfied with this product though but it did do its job by removing the fine hairs.
Pros:
- Quick and easy.
- Affordable. Retail price is R38.99.
- Convenient.
- Removes hair without any pain.
- Suitable for upper lip, chin and jawline.
Cons:
- Not very good for sensitive skin.
- Smells gross.
- It burnt my skin a bit.
I have mixed emotions about this product because it does work for me but it also doesn't. I have a mild case of seasonal eczema, it comes and goes when it pleases. The burnt area doesn't take long to heal. I usually just apply 8 hour cream after I wiped off the hair removal cream. But the fact that it's not as mild as they say it is kind of puts me down.
Would I recommend this product? Yes and no.
Yes - if you have good strong skin and you want a quick and easy solution, then try this product.
No - if you have sensitive skin, then rather find other methods of getting rid of unwanted hair on your face.
xo.
