MAC Pigments in Bloodline

Pigments are a highly concentrated loose colour powder that contains ingredients to help it adhere to the skin. This pigment was a limited edition released from MAC’s Fabulous Feline Collection in 2010. It is a darkened taupe-brown with a tiny bit of plum. It can be used dry or wet and comes in a 4.5 gram jar. When wet, it can be very intense.

I love this pigment because it’s the most unique and beautiful dark taupe brown colour I have ever seen. It has this subtle iridescent plum sheen that isn’t obvious in photographs, but you can definitely see it in person. What I like about this is that you can apply it softly as a lid colour, or more intensely to give more definition to the eye. As this pigment is super buildable and can be used wet or dry, you can use this one pigment to create a sexy, bombshell smokey eye. No other eyeshadows will be needed because you can use this to liner your eyes too and it stays on all night. What I also love about this is that 4.5grams is so much product, I don’t think I’ll ever finish using this! (Bonus! I’m a hoarder...)
