I love experimenting with eyes, so both subtle and dramatic eye looks, I was pleasantly happy when I received this as part of a birthday gift from one of my girlfriends...At first I used only the ‘purple’ on my full eye, with no base, or any other colour blending. I liked the fact that the colour is EXACTLY the colour I expected.
The next time I used this shadow, was along side a gold eye shadow and WOW! Those two colours works! Pity I didn’t take a pic, but will the next time I use it.
I used half of the purple on the inside of my lid, and the other half with the gold. I then applied a medium to thick line of eyeliner and BAM! My eyes popped. I didn’t even apply any mascara, although it would’ve probably made a difference.
I dipped my brush I received in one of my ruby boxes in some water, and then attempted to use the eye shadow as a liner. It was a perfect mix. There were no clumps, and the colour wasn’t as harsh as I only used a little bit. That look would be perfect for day time chilling with the gal pals
