MAC Paints are a great buy as they're super durable and long lasting and great value for money. The paints in the tubes are a different texture to the MAC Paint pots (as they changed the formulation a few years ago.) The Paint tubes are silky and apply with ease are are great to wear on their own or as an eye makeup base/primer. If you have VERY oily lids, I do suggest using a light dusting of translucent powder on the lids first as it may crease.
