I like it for the cooling dewy feeling, but that's where it ends. I use it before and after foundation and don't really understand what it does. I live in KZN so my makeup melts off, I got this because I thought that it would help, but it does literally nothing for me. In fact, I think it makes my makeup melt faster. Maybe it will work better for the girls in dryer climates though.
This is outrageously expensive for what it is. I got a small one to try which I paid around R250 odd for.
This is the original setting spray and still just as good. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed and glow and the water droplets come out of the bottle in a fine spray. The downside is that is costly but I often purchase the mini version which is much more cost effective.
Love this fixing spray, use it to set makeup when i am looking for more of a glowy type of look. It is costly but the ingredients are quality. I love the scent and how the spray mists without big droplets coming out ruinning a look. My only critique is that it is not as widely available as id like. Would love to start seeing more MAC stores or pharmacy stores starting to stock this.
The MAC fixing spray is definitely one of the best products from MAC. I can see how it helps keep my skin hydrated once I have put on my foundation and powder. MAC is a little bit pricey but this product is worth it
I am a big fan of Mac and this is one of their best products. I really enjoy this spray. It helps smooth out my makeup and keeps it in place for hours!
Obviously being Mac it is a bit on the pricey side, I enjoy buying the mini bottle of fix + as it is more affordable and still lasts me a long time as I don’t wear full make up everyday. You can get mini Mac products at Sandton city, cresta, rosebank and probably many more places those are just the malls I’m aware that stock them.
So I tried and tested the OG version of this and really did not like it for my skin type.
The Matte version, however, is fantastic for oily skin. It comes in the same pump bottle, but it contains magical fairy dust that accumulates at the bottom and requires a good shake before every use.
If you love a beaming highlight - set your face before you add your glow. This spray mattifies fiercely, therefore it definitely mutes highlighter.
You can also spritz after primers and before foundation, which I have a feeling, most of you will prefer. The reason being that it does leave tiny white powder specks on your face. I just work them into the skin with a dense brush and a little bit of powder.
Other than that, this product is super and really does prolong your flawless base.
Best in the game. Even when I try other setting sprays, I keep coming back for this one. It Keeps the skin hydrated and your makeup looking good all day long.
This is one of the best facial mists I have used, but I am a MAC lover. It keeps my skin feeling hydrated but not oily and I feel my makeup does last longer. I also like that it doesn't make my eyes water, no sensitivity issues whatsoever. It seems expensive at first but it lasts very long! It makes my skin feel velvety!
My boyfriend had purchased the coconut fix + for me as a spoil . What can I say I dont think I can do without fix + in my makeup routine now. If i feel my face looks cakey I just need a few spritz and im good to go. This product is an all rounder.
One of the best prep and priming facial mists. I usually use it before applying my foundation and it really hydrates my skin - the feeling is amazing. I also use it after finishing up with my makeup and it really helps my makeup last longer than usual. Sometimes, if I’m having a long day I sprits a little on my face to keep my skin hydrated, works like a charm !
This has to be one the best facial mists I have ever used! I especially love the dual usage and versatility of the product, as it can be used as both a setting spray and a facial primer. I love using it as a primer, as it plumps up my skin and actually makes my makeup look seamless upon application. When used as a setting spray, it also allows my makeup to stay on my face for hours, and when I say hours, I mean HOURS. I went clubbing, danced and sweated my butt off and at the end of the night, my makeup was still in place. Would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality, makeup setting spray, you won't be sorry and yes! It is most definitely worth the hype!
Although the price of this particular product is quite steep for the usual make-up buyer, it is worth every cent. Take it from a reviewer, who has fallen into a pool of water, and came out with a contour that could kill.
Mac Fix Plus Spray is as a setting spray for your makeup. It is meant to hold your makeup in place when you lightly spritz it on your face. I hold the bottle about 30cm from my face and spray once with a very fine mist being dispensed.
It completely removes that "cakey" look to your foundation which usually accompanies many powder products. It gives a lovely luminous, dewy finish to the skin.
Retails at Mac for R180.00 (Worth every penny !!)
If you don't own this spray. I advise you drop everything your doing and go buy it RIGHT NOW :) :)
