This is my first and only MAC eye shadow. It is a medium brown with a totally matte finish (no satin or shimmer effect). It is pigmented and very blendable. I mainly use in the crease as a light countour color. It is also good for blending out darker colors. This color is not very deep or dark which is great for work and to be used with lighter shades like peach and pink. Because it is matte, I use it to tone down very shimmery looks so I don't end up looking like a disco diva :-)
Overall I really recommend it. It is worth the money. If you have dark skin this color could actually blend with your skin color which is also useful. For the fair skind girls, it is great as a lid color or light contour color. It is very versatile!
