This brush works great for shading. The shape of the brush allows you to pat eyeshadow on instead of swiping it on which is better for blending afterwards. It has natural bristles that are stiff but soft at the same time. The brush is relatively small so I can work more delicately with colours. It picks up eyeshadow very well, but I do find myself reaching out for my Palladio eye blending brush when I apply eyeshadow over a larger area of the eyelid (like a wash of colour all over the eyelid) simply because it is larger and it picks up even more shadow so the application is quicker for me. But when I work with darker colours and need to be more precise, the MAC brush is the one to use.
The quality is excellent as usual. It hasn't shed a single hair and dries very fast because it is so thin.
It is very expensive but is worth it long term.
