Hey BB Babes :)
A MUST HAVE eye make-up brush in your kit!
This brush has fine, densely packed fibers that are arranged in an oval shape. M·A·C professional brushes are hand-sculpted and assembled using the finest quality materials. They feature wood handles and nickel-plated brass ferrules.
If you only buy one eyeshadow brush though, make it the MAC 217. It picks up so much product and blends beautifully into the crease of your eye area, A perfect tool for smokey eyes and blending your 'outer v "shape
eyeshadow look.
If you're not getting results, try watching how pros use the brush on youtube.
This brush is rather pricey. I recall spending over R200 for it but seriously what an investment into my own make-up style and looks :)
I say don't knock it 'till you try it! :)
Highly recommended :)
Stay Beautiful!

the #214 bledning brush is one of may favourites and the pony/goat hair that it's made from makes all the difference when applying makeup to my clients. this brush can be used to apply eyeshadow as well as to blend it. If you find the domed bristle shape too large, try the #222 brush as its thinner as well as longer and it great for precision eyeshadow application (or concealer application)

This brush is another one of those essential eye makeup brushes. It is best used for blending out eyeshadow in the crease and outer corner. It has natural bristles. They are fluffy, dome-shaped and are quite stiff. The stiffness is essential for blending. It works really well. After using this brush it is hard to see where one eye shadow colour ends and another ones begins. That is exactly the look to aim for. When one can distinguish colour stripes, makeup looks quite unprofessional.
I have also bought a Revlon crease brush but the effectiveness is not comparable so I haven't found any cheaper dupes for the MAC brush as yet. I doubt that will change as this brush is universally known as the best one for blending.
The quality is great as usual and it doesn't shed any bristles. The handle is also nice and long - very good for precision.
One thing I don't like about the brush is that it is quite big. I have small lid space and hooded eyes so it is not as easy to create intricate looks with this brush. I will just have to also invest in a smaller one for that purpose one day...
