I have bought another bottle already, used it so I could get others to try it plus I get another bottle if I run out ( this wont happen too soon as you dont need to use much to get great results ).
I have naturally curly hair ( think ringlets from half my head down that then fizz out into a mess so I look like a clown after 20 mins ) and normally get it relaxed and get special treatments shampoos etc... This weekend after washing it in the morning, I put in this oil and left my hair....for once my curls looked kinda nice even after a long lunch and a bit of wind.
I loved how my hair looked after blowdrying and straightening it. It looked healthy and shiney without that greasy dirty loo. My hair was also more managable.
I have tried silicon in the past, which didnt work and isnt great for your hair and the oils I previously tried were too heavy and made my hair look dirty....so I love this product.
Best thing about it is my hair is def healthier since using it. After a long summer our hair tends to need quite a bit of repair and this has done miracles, even in the short time I have been trialing it.
I was a bit apprehensive when I received this oil in my Rubybox as I had just had a Brazilian Blow Dry done. I know from previous experience that using anything too heavy on my hair after this treatment causes it to look limp and greasy.
So I was pleasantly surprised to discover how light this oil is and how great my results were. I have tried it in both the methods suggested. I applied it to damp hair and then blow dried, and I have also tried it applied to dry hair.
You need to be careful of the amount you use as I am sure that too much can cause the hair to look greasy very quickly. I used a full pump when I applied it to damp hair, and half a pump when I applied it to dry hair. In both cases this seemed to be the perfect amount. (I have long hair).
My ends ,which tend to look a bit frazzled at the best of times, were smooth and glossy, and my hair felt incredibly soft.
I was super excited to find this inside my rubybox. It's a beautifully fragranced hair oil that contains some delicious ingredients. A blend of avocado oil and grape seed oil. I expected the bottle to have a spray nozzle but instead it's a pump nozzle which makes application a lot better in my opinion as I can control exactly how much product I apply.
I used one pump of this. Warmed it in my hands and applied it mid-shaft to the ends while my hair was wet and before I blow-dried my hair. For me this was trial and error as I have very fine hair and one pump was too much for my hair to handle. I think for my hair texture and length (shoulder) I would need to use a half pump.
So while I was blow-drying I noticed my hair was a bit oily in the areas closer to the roots. But my ends were incredible. My hair was so soft and felt so light and bouncy. My hair looked like I just walked out of a salon. Even though I used a bit too much for my first try I now know to use a little less and only apply it to my ends.
I absolutely love this oil and I find it to be extremely nourishing and moisturising. My split ends disappeared and my hair looked and felt like silk.
