L’oreal Paris Gentle Eye Make-up Remover

I also wear make up on a daily basis and I found this to work okay. I have had many other eye make up remover products but it is one of the gentlest I have used. I also have "hardworking" make up that stays on all day until I remove it in the evening and I found that with the lasting products I have to swipe my make up remover a few times before it actually comes off. So it's a balance between gentleness vs. effectiveness. If you have super thick make up that lasts all day i.e. professional make up then this may not be the product for you but for everyday makeup i.e. 6 - 12 hour make up this may just do the trick! :)

Two words that come to mind when describing my experience with this eye make-up remover would be : EPIC FAIL!

By far one of the WORST purchases of 2011.

Here's why...

I adore eye make-up and wear it often so I thought this would be a fantastic purchase.

When wearing eye- make-up regularly it is imperative to take care of your sensitive eye area to combat crows feet and other signs of aging.

I try and do the whole sher-bang. There is not a day that goes by without me using eye cream to keep my eye area in a healthy condition so I thought why not take the extra step and purchase a specific eye make-up remover.

This product claims: Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover, enriched with Pro Vitamin, gently yet thoroughly removes all traces of make-up. Its refreshing and gentle formula is suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.

This could not be further from the truth. It doesn't remove eye make-up! The first time I tried this I thought maybe I just had a very deep smokey eye and the eye shadow was just packed on to thick but unfortunately I tried it again when all I had on was a stoke of liquid liner and it failed miserably.

After using my regular make-up remover over my entire face I now only use this eye make-up remover to remove the light smudges left behind.

I love L'oreal Paris products by sorry this was a DUD!
