This product is perfect for anyone who is using skin tablets and constantly have dry lips. It has a bit of a burn when you first put it on, but thats how you know its working! It really does bring life back to dried out lips.
This product is amazing and should only be used when needed, if you are constantly applying and re-applying this product to your lips, the oils in you body will not equalise in your lips and your lips will start to rely on this product to bring moisture back into your lips or they will dry out again.
I would recommend this product to someone but use it in moderation.
Brilliant product! Always in my handbag.
Apply as needed, guaranteed to cure any sore, dry or cracked lips.
Better yet use as a preventative when in dry or cold places.
Thick texture instantly soothes uncomfortable lips. Not only soothes but heals too.
This lip balm is one of the most excellent! With its natural beeswax ingredient. it cures chapped lips miraculously and leaves them soft for a long time after applying. One does not need to apply a large amount as it is quite thick. I used it while I was on Reaccutane and my lips bled from this medicine, so one can judge its quality from that as well.
Other cool factors that make this lippy loveable are its water resistant powers. The tub has also been specifically designed to make it easy to use, and will not leak. So, if you plan to keep a tub of Lipsano in your beach bag – as you should – the contents wont melt
I have this in a tube and when you wear it, it looks like clear gloss! This is a great primer for my lips, on the days when I dont wanna wear liner or any lipgloss on top! I need to repurchase my lips dont want any other balm!
What an essential, inventive little bugger this is. It is a little pricey compared to other balms on the market but is a definite investment piece. Its long lasting and reliable. Its perfect for those who love the natural lip look but with some added pizaaz and moisture.
The balm contains a number of moisturizers and protectants that nourish and protect lips while leaving it fully hydrated and lip-smackingly delicious. There is also a dose of vitamins and antioxidants that help deliver only the best to soothe weather damaged lips. It contains a SPF35 to protect the lip area from the harsh SA sun, and is dermatologically tested and scientifically designed for everyday use.
The smell is absolutely divine and reminds me of a mix between a vanilla and mint. Its easy to apply and smoothes out onto lips like butter. The consistency is similiar to other balms but a tad 'firmer' than I'm fimiliar too.
I found the pot to be a tad in-convenient at times when I needed moisturization but my fingers were not balm worthy. Its also not a great product for sharing as bacteria can easily spread from fingers, thats where the Lipsano tube would come in handy :D I also found the balm to be most efficient when the pot was heated a bit by clasping in my hand.
I'm very susceptable to lip blisters and fever spres and found that lipsano helps drastically to improve the appearance and condition of the blisters. It also alleviates the 'itchy' sensation I often get befor the fever sores start. Its a greta and effective product that works for every weather and occasion. Extra useful in winter to even help those chapped elbows .
P.S as you can see, my lipsano tubs have been through alot, even the writing's faded off.
A little expensive? Yes.
But worth it? If your lips need that much sun protection and if your lips are particularly dry, definitely yes. Otherwise, Labello or Lip-ice should suffice.
Also, don't leave it in a warm place, it will melt and deform. Learnt the hard way.
I started using LipSano in the summer months because of the high SPF. But I must say, after a while my lips also became dependant on it. My lips also became flaky.
I have used up to 4 small tubs of this lip product over the duration of 2 years now, and I must say that it serves as a great lip care product especially in summer as it contains high SPF and remains on the lips without making it greasy even if you decide to take a dip. On application, the product gives your lips a slight tingly feeling, which I like. I like that it gives your lips a subtle sheen, is easily absorbed and doesn’t leave lips feeling greasy.
I usually apply this product with my fingers but you can use a lip brush if you like.
One disadvantage I did find with this product however, is that after using this product consistently over a long period of time, my lips become dependent on it and when I don’t have it on my lips, my lips feel dry and irritated. I am not sure whether it’s the product or my own lips, but when I use it only during summer and spring, my lips feel good and moisturised and it does not depend on the product. So now I alternate between using this product and another lip care product and the Lipsano Lipcare is by far the best lip care when it comes to protecting your lips in the summer months when you may be exposed to much sun.
