This is my go to product during the cold and harsh winters when chapped lips are the usual. This balm smoothes and moisturizes my lips. There's a slight tingly sensation which makes it all the more better. I suffered with chapped and dry lips for quite a while and blistex saved my lips. I haven't had any side effects to this product, but I do recommend using blistex for a week or more untill your lips feel better and then switch to a normal hydroboost lip balm. It's just my personal preference as this is what worked better for me
