As with most women, I'm an absolute lipstick fanatic. It hasn't always been this way though, I grew up as an only child with a mom that never wore make-up, not that she needed it.My best friends were boys and we've spend our days practicing soccer,rugby,cricket,wrestling or whatever they could come up. It was fun and I never missed being a typical girl, as I've never been one.Throughout high school my girlfriends tried to interest me in make-up but no luck...until my matric farewell. I couldn't believe the effect a little bit of make-up had on me, the transformation was amazing! After school I dabbled in make-up quite a bit but my biggest love was lipstick. I've been trying to get the perfect shade of red that moisturizes my lips while providing amazing colour as well. I've stumbled upon Rimmel Lasting Finish Colour Rush in 600 On Fire and it's amazing! It gives me the perfect shade of red whilst being glossy (not too much) at the same time. My lips are moisturized and the colour is truly as showstopper. I often use lipstick as a pick-me-up, a pop of colour (as I wear black a lot) and an instant confidence booster.It's my new best and trusted friend and I don't know how I'll survive without it. I don't ever leave home without my #LipstickEffect and believe that even if I jog, I need to look fierce and what better way to achieve that than with a pop of sultry red colour?
