The La’Mer brand is one of Estée Lauder’s signature products that is also known as Crème de la Mer. It was first manufactured by a NASA scientist, Max Huber, who needed something to help treat severe chemical burns that were sustained during an accident.

Crème de la Mer was made using sea kelp that was fermented to create this unique product. Dr Huber initially sold the crème by himself for a few years, before it was taken over by Estée Lauder.

Dr Huber looked to the sea for answers on how to create a skin care range that would be the solution to various problems such as dry skin and aging. With the use of sea kelp that was harvested from the Pacific Ocean, Dr Huber spent 12 years trying to find the right combination of fermenting, vitamins, minerals and essential oils that would give him the results he was looking for. Eventually, Crème de la Mer was developed and its miraculous benefits made available.

Skin is moisturised and soothed from the first application of Crème de la Mer products. With continued use, this miracle face cream will leave you with softer skin that is smoother and firmer. Lines and wrinkles will be less visible as well.
