I use to use another formula from the Labello Lipcare range, but thought I’d give the strawberry one a try since it’s one of my favourite fruits. I’ve been using a huge variety of different lip care products in the last few years since my skin has become so dry so I’ll be comparing this to others I have used.
This lip balm is more of a lip tint for me, as the colour of the balm does give a reddish tint to your lips. Since I’ve become obsessed with nude and muted pink lips lately, I don’t really like the fact that it gives a red tint, since I can’t apply this before I apply those kind of lip colours. I also don’t like the fact that the red tint stains glasses when you eat and drink, and if you apply it before bed, it can stain your pillow case if you sleep funny like I do. So this lip balm is more suited for day time when you want to add a bit of colour to your lips without using lipstick.
In terms of moisturising, I would say its average compared to other lip balms I have used. It’s not the moist moisturising, but definitely not the worst. It does have a strawberry scent to it that I find pleasant, but if you don’t like artificial fragrances, then this lip balm isn’t for you.
