LA Girl HD PRO BB Cream

A true all-in-one makeup gem.
For those like me who prefer going simple and are against cream foundations, this is the perfect alternative.
Doesn't feel heavy or thick on the skin.
Good to apply a translucent powder over the BB cream as it tends to become a little oily and shiny a few hours later.

One of the best BB creams I used so far and the cheapest! It is easy to blend with a brush or a beauty blender. It gives me good coverage on days I just want to keep my makeup simple and not too heavy on my skin #highly recommend!

I started my makeup journey with this brand and it's the best for beginners and pro's ( I still use it ) I feel it's more lightweight and absolutely soft on the skin. LA Girl HD PRO BB Cream besides being cost effective this BB cream is of a good quality and is the best bb cream on the market by far , easy to use and gives you the coverage you need

One of the best in the market so far plus the price is just right.

The formula is quite runny and it is easy to blend with a brush. The light coverage is perfect for the days when I want to keep things light. I get a good 6 hour wear from the bb cream on the days when I'm in a temperature controlled environment. I have combination skin and I use it with a setting spray and it wears well. It does transfer a bit, but you shouldn't be touching your face anyway.

The shade range is impressive, but the brand can do better and increase the shades on the darker side. It really won't hurt them.

Affordable

L.A. girl hits all the right notes (personal opinion) with its BB (beauty balm) cream it is super hydrating and leaves my skin looking refreshed
It is however very difficult to find a shade that is more suiting to my skin tone so I had to settle for GBB948-DARK
The consistency of the product is thick
It is light coverage with just one layer but buildable with more layers to achieve a medium coverage
It is super lightweight and super easy to apply I generally use my hands to apply it, it is basically a tinted moisturizer
Great for a natural on the go daily look

Very impressed with this product and will definitely continue to purchase it because it's perfect for me to quickly apply to the face before varsity just to look fresh and revitalized!
There's only one small problem with this product... After about an hour and a half it starts to make the skin look very shiny and oily. If this could be fixed then I'd say it would be the perfect BB Cream!

I love this product. I find that it is perfect for those 'no make-up days' where you only need a small amount of coverage. It is not drying and does not separate on the skin. I found that there was a fairly wide range of shades and that the product did not oxidise on my skin. I have dry skin and I still needed to set this with a setting powder, I would not recommend to a person with oily skin. Also would not recommend to a person with problematic/ acne-prone skin as the coverage is very light and will not cover up spots or blemishes.

I would definitely suggest this product more for younger girls experimenting with makeup or younger woman who want a more natural finish.

This works well for me when its a pool or beach day and I need a little cover. Its a lightweight formula with light coverage.

I have seen so many great reviews on this BB cream, yet it was completely useless to me. It looked heavily tinted in the tube, and when I squeezed product out, yet when applied it blended out to nothing. I might as well have just been wearing my regular day cream, which does a better job of hydrating my skin as is.

Much rather stick to the Sorbet BB creams - they've got a new lighter shade now (the light was quite dark before) that suits my winter skin, provides good coverage for a BB cream and lasts all day.

It didnt really cover up much of my spots if I didnt apply a colour corrector first. I wouldnt recommend it for someone who wants full coverage. Its probably good just for that light weight make up if you're not looking to cover up much. As much as they say its a primer and a moisturiser as well it didn't really do much for my skin as i had to apply moisturiser first and it didnt cover up my pores.

Great for minimum coverage days! It's hydrating and true to colour. Love that they offer diverse skin tones and I love it as you can use it for no makeup looks but it is also buildable. Wouldn't recommend it to sisters that are looking for full coverage foundations.

This is my current favourite. Light wear make-up, gives you a beautiful enhancement and is perfect if you're not a make-up fanatic. It is everyday-wear friendly because it is very light. And the most awesome part is that it primes and moisturizes your skin ! What more could a girl want?!

I usually opt for cc cream instead of bb ..i scooped this up because I love LA girl and the price was ridiculously cheap..ofcourse I knew I wouldn't be disappointed because this brand is amazing .

About this bb cream :
It's a nice consistency
Glides onto my skin
Gives me a Dewey,fresh and natural look.
It's great if you want to skip the foundation and want a more natural look.
Don't expect full coverage, it's not a foundation.
It does set a nice canvass for foundation application though and enhances the results,making me look fresh and flawless ..

For the price this is an absolute steal. Ladies go get you some!

LA Girl has done it again with their HD Pro BB Cream!

This product is a definite win, it is affordable and available at Dischem store for only R60! Which is a literal steal considering this product's quality. Bare in mind a lot of the shades are sold out very fast due to the demand for LA Girl Products. I love their Pro Concealers and wasn't expecting to like this BB cream, I was surprised because it gave me a glowy natural looking finish without making me look too cakey! if you're looking for full coverage this one isn't for you, but if you'd like a decent medium to light coverage LA Girl's Pro BB Cream is perfect for you. I recommend setting it with a powder to make it last all day.

PROS:
* natural finish not heavy on the skin
* 8 shades that adapt well to many skin tones
* affordable (only R60/R59.99)
* perfect for a "No Makeup" look
* blends seamlessly and effortlessly

CONS:
*the tube isn't very effective, you can easily get out too much product if you squeeze the bottle to hard!
*product can sometimes transfer if not set with a good translucent powder or setting spray
* uhm... well i have nothing bad to say about this BB cream i love it!

I decided to get this as I don't want a heavy foundation during the hot summer months.

Pros:
Good shade range (caters fro darker skin tones)
Affordable (R59 for 30ml)
Lightweight and hydrating (but not dewey)

Cons
A bit tacky on the skin
VERY LIGHT COVERAGE - This does not hide blemishes or dark spots
Packaging - the tube someones squirts out way too much product. The first couple of times I used this, the product would pretty much fly out of the tube

This product is best for when you want a more natural look it provides light coverage. and works well as a primer. I almost squeezed all the product out so be careful when squeezing out the product or be prepared with a another container to stored excess product.

I was so pleased to see that my local Dischem finally started stocking LA Girl products!! What was even better was the awesome promotion they had on the LA Girl brand - buy 2, get a 3rd product free! This BB cream provides light coverage and I basically use it as a primer after I've moisturized. The only critique I have is the product tends to come out too easily of the tube so I would caution to not squeeze the tube too hard.

Very pleased with the results after the first use and will continue to monitor the wear throughout the day.

LA Girl really delivers great products for a great price. This BB cream doesn't disappoint. It's light on the skin and gives a lovely even tone to the skin. I use it for those 'natural no make up look' days.

I never imagine it would hide spots or blemishes, but it does a decent job and I always get comments on how great my skin looks when I wear this BB cream.
