L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew RANGE

"Lucky me, the Beauty Bulletin has been kind enough to offer me a trial hamper of the L'Oréal Revitalift Filler Renew range!
It compiles of 4 individual products which can also be used and purchased "stand alone" so if I want to continue with only 1 or 2, then I may. Fortunately I get all 4!
Between you and I, I'm not sure whether I'm closer to 40 or 50 years of age but either way, ageing doesn't sit well with us gals who like to stay looking young so I welcome this 6 week challenge.
Okay, so here goes...I'm so excited...
STEP 1:
Take a "before" pic. It's difficult to see the aging lines because my phone's camera ain't so great(I won't name the brand...hehe) so I will draw your attention to it.
Eyes: "Crows feet"/"Laugh lines" and sunken under eye area.
Brow: Lines above left eye worse than right side due to raising my brow more on one side than the other...hehe.
Mouth area: I have a line that runs from my nose to my top lip, this is from years of chewing my inner cheeks.
Cheek area: My "flaps" which are on the sides of my mouth are rather deep and also finer ones a little further apart.
STEP 2:
Packaging looks great and the containers are real user friendly - no having to try figure it out!
The scent of the creams smell devine!
It feels like a layer of velvet going on my skin. Seriously, I've used "El cheapo" and real good, expensive stuff before and believe me, this feels real good and expensive!
So I've applied the Revitalift filler(HA) under my eyes and crows, the Revitalift filler renew(long cylindrical) on my forehead, sides of my mouth "flaps" and the fine line above my top lip. Also, decided to do the fine line that runs along my neck.
Then I wait 5minutes for it all to soak in(get dressed in the meantime). I now apply the Revitalift filler renew cream to my entire face and neck. I don't have to apply a lot, so I think these products are going to last at least 2months. This could be very inexpensive considering what one pays for just one bottle of other products on the market. I'm really excited to see how this works from an aesthetic AND financial aspect as I'd like to be able to maintain it...If it works!

Hi, hi....5days in and I had to let you know quickly: I was at the gym today and one of the guys came to greet and chit chat. A few minutes into the conversation, he mentioned what beautiful skin I have! Wow, I think this cream is going to be a keeper!

2 WEEK UPDATE
I'm really enjoying this product! I can definitely see an improvement with my crows feet and the fine line between my nose and upper lip is almost gone. My neck area has also improved. I don't see improvement on my forehead or the "flaps" on the side of my mouth but that's to be expected because it's much deeper and needs more time with the product. I'm super surprised at the result thus far."

I have continued to use the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew range of products and have simply fallen in love with them my skin looks and feel fantastic. #TheTruthAboutAgeing ....is that you need not worry if you are using the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew range. My skin is prone to adult acne and this has slowly cleared over the last 6 to 7 weeks leaving my skin softer and smoother.
The products contain the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid ever used by L’Oreal Paris, and are said to plump up your skin with moisture for fuller contours, more volume and reduced wrinkles, and trust me from the first application of the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew Hyaluronic Replumping Serum (Just love this) the deep contour on my forehead appears smoother.

For over 6 weeks I have been using the new range and I thank Lori and the Beauty Bulletin for having selected me.
My skin was dry and in need of hydration - I know this as I saw it filled with nourishment right after I started using the products.
I even had flu and a huge hormonal imbalance and its helped with my skin break outs a lot.
I am not a make up person - but started to wear make up to work for a whole week, and with my products, I had no problems as when I did wear make up.
There was nothing I did not like, from the product to the packaging and you know with a name like Loreal you have a woman in your corner to age but age younger :) #TheTruthAboutAgeing!

Yes I am the kind of person that buys with my eyes. The products are packed in the most sophisticated purple-blue. The Day and Night cream are neatly packed in tubs for easy usage. The L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew and L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Renew Eye Cream product dispensing will blow your minds this is the future. The Filler is in a Rather uniquely syringe pen like applicator allowing you to expense just the right amount, if you think this is awesome the eye cream is packed in a tube and the dispensing nozzle fits perfectly under the eye in the eye corner. Wowzerz!!! Well done L’Oréal Paris !!

OVERALL EXPERIENCE
After the 6 weeks use I have more plumper skin, my face and neck are smoother. Fine line are fading and I have a more youthful appearance. I really feel that L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew range has help me to look a little healthier and more radiant, I kicked the clock back with L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew range eradicate those wrinkles completely. it truly an investment in your skin!

After six weeks of using day cream, night cream, serum and eye cream, my skin feels very soft, the dark marks are less visible, you can not see them when I have make up on. Fine lines are a lot less now. My skin is less oily as well. I really love the serum and the night cream. I will continue using the products.

I had the best time reviewing the LÓreal Revitalift filler range. Changing from one brand to another is not always easy, but what I found most reassuring, is the fact that this product really works.
The shape of the applicator (eye serum and filler creams especially) assists with quick and easy beauty regimes which is such a pleasure, especially considering our busy schedules!

My skin appears brighter, plumper and has a beautiful healthy glow.
The dark under-eye circles are less visible and I can only imagine how much more impactful this product would be over longer periods of usage.
All the creams are lightweight and I no longer worry about shiny, oily skin.

I highly recommend these products, especially if you seek relief from aging, dull skin.

My Final Thoughts on the L'oreal Paris Revitalift Renew Range...

Its now been 6 weeks that I am using these products and I definitely am in LOVE with it.

It absolutely does all that it says it will do.

My skin looks younger and rejuvenated. The lines are fading and my skin looks hydrated.
After traveling to Dubai in the Summer season, the air conditioner damaged my skin and it was dry and flaky.

These products has assisted me to sort out these issue.

They are true value for money.

Within 3 weeks of using the product I was already receiving complimentary ts about how healthy, young and beautiful my skin is. I so enjoyed when my colleagues disagreed when I told them my age. The Serum and the Eye cream did wonders for me. I feel renewed. The Day moisturiser is so quick absorbing and it does not make you shine. It also makes you make up look natural because the skin is much more healthy looking.

The Night cream as well gives you that velvety feel and the skin absorbs it giving it that natural beautiful feel and look. I held a demo session with my friend and showed them what I use and how I use it. Thank you so much, going forward this is on the list of my monthly products.

I’ve been using the L’Oreal Revitalift Filler Renew range for a month now, and am very impressed with how my skin looks and feels.
To briefly recap; the range contains the highest concentration of Hyaluronic Acid formulated into a cream by L’Oreal. The products are also enriched with Fibroxyl plant extract, renowned for its firming properties. Inspiration for the range comes from analyzing how hyaluronic Acid injectable fillers work to plump lines and wrinkles in the skin. L’Oreal then sough to replicate this action in the Revitalift Filler Renew Range.

Below are the four products I tried from the range and my true feelings on each:
Revitalift Filler Renew Hyaluronic Replumping Serum (R284.95).
I’ve tried this serum about a year ago and really liked it, so was keen to really put it through its paces for a month. It was only after doing some research on how exactly to apply the product that I realized I’d been doing incorrectly! To get the best results, you really should follow the application method HERE
In general, serums contain higher concentration of active ingredients and, because their molecules are smaller, are able to really penetrate into the skin. Aside from the super cool packaging (it resembles an injectable), I enjoyed the lightweight, almost watery texture of this serum that absorbed within a few seconds. On application, the serum has a slight fragrance but it disappears within a minute.

Revitalift Filler Renew Filler Precision Eye Cream R284.95
This is definitely one of my favourite eye creams. I love the metal tip applicator that immediately cools and refreshes the under eye area. If I’m to be totally honest, I don’t use an eye cream daily, but I committed to trying this every morning and evening for the duration of the campaign (4 weeks) and have to admit – my eye area looks a LOT better. Dark rings are certainly diminished and my under eye bags (especially visible when I wake up in the mornings) are a lot less pronounced. My eye area feels wonderfully hydrated after using this, making applying my heavy-duty concealer that is quite thick (Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer), so much easier.

Revitalift Filler Renew Anti-Ageing Day Replumping Care R284.95
Aside from the fact that this day cream hydrated my skin, I noticed that immediately after application, it seemed to almost mattify my skin slightly. I read reviews of this particular product before using it, and noted that a few women said they found the product left a film on their skin, or they need to allow it to absorb before applying make-up. This was NOT the case with me. I found this cream absorbed really quickly (and I have normal/combo skin) and acted as a brilliant base for make-up. The cream does have quite a strong scent (that I really like), but if you’re one that doesn’t enjoy fragrance in your face creams, do be aware of this. As I mentioned in my previous post, there is no SPF in this cream, but it does contain Titanium Dioxide – so there is some protection built in to the formula. However, I’d recommend you apply some additional protection after – like a foundation with an SPF.

Revitalift Filler Renew Anti-Ageing Night Replumping Care R284.95
Even though this nighttime moisturiser is quite heavily fragranced and has colour (I don’t have an issue with either - but if your skin is very sensitive you need to consider this), it’s my favourite product from the range. I enjoy a really rich, comforting and nourishing night cream and this one ticks all my boxes. My skin feels immediately hydrated after using it, but leaves no greasy film.

I was also lucky enough to interview top dermatologist Dr Sian Hartshorne.

Q: What lifestyle changes can one make that will assist in counteracting volume loss in the face?
“Exercise that strengthens the neck and facial muscles such as Pilates and Yoga are recommended. These help keep the tone in muscles. Including a Collagen supplement is also advised, because it assists in collagen and elastin production - thus boosting the skin’s natural hyaluronic acid reserves.”

Q: Can you describe some of the typical signs of volume loss in the face and where it's most likely to happen?
“One of the first signs is a more noticeable square shape to the face. This happens due to of the loss of volume in the upper cheeks, and a movement of facial pads into the lower jaw areas. In some cases, vertical lines along the cheeks - commonly known as “jowls” become visible.”

Q: At what age can we expect to see volume loss in the face?
“This can start at any age from 40 years + However, some people have great genes and the real signs of aging only become evident from 60 years. Unfortunately, for women, menopause seems to accelerate the volume loss process as levels of oestrogen decrease.

It has been noted that those who suffered with severe acne as teenagers seem to have very early volume loss, and may look older even at a fairly young age. This is thought to perhaps be due to the damage created by the inflammation of the acne to the structures such as collagen and elastin fibres.”

Q: I've been using the L'Oreal Revitalift Filler Renew range of products for about 3 weeks now. The key ingredient in the day cream, night cream, serum and eye cream is Hyaluronic acid. But, applied topically can Hyaluronic acid REALLY penetrate the skin (it’s a large molecule) and make a difference to volume loss?
“If you look at all the research, the regular HA molecule is too big to penetrate the skin. However, L’Oreal have made the molecule smaller so it is able to penetrate into the skin, absorbing water and literally plumping it up. However, if the molecule is too small, it may create irritation and inflammation. All the products produced in the L’Oreal Revitalift Filler Renew range have been thoroughly researched and contain the correct size molecule; perfect for penetration that yields results. So yes, it can make a difference.”

Q: What is your top recommended non-surgical treatment for volume loss and why?
“For immediate effect injectable fillers (that contain hyaluronic acid) can make a real difference for areas where volume loss is of concern. The key is using small amounts, and making sure your doctor / aesthetician has had the correct training and experience.
Overuse of dermal fillers creates poor balance and strange looking features. Depending on the area being injected - and the desired effect wanted - the choice of filler is very important.
I also recommend treatments like Glycolic Acid Peels, laser and micro-needling to my clients who have fillers as these awaken fibroblast cells in the dermis of the skin, making them produce collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.”

To conclude this post, I’d say that the L’Oreal Revitalift Filler Renew Range is suitable for all women 35+ concerned with the signs of ageing. Now, while lines and wrinkles are generally a concern for women in this age group, there is a growing amount of women who say that sagging skin and a lack of fullness is actually their top concern – I know I fall into this group. This type of ageing is due to the gradual deterioration of tissues under the skin and the slowing of the skin’s youthful mechanisms.

If you have any of the signs below, the range would be appropriate for you:

- This skin does not hold moisture well.
- Skin is more marked when you wake (pillow lines).
- Deepening of dark under eye circles.
- Appearance of vertical wrinkles in dark circles.
- Hollowing of cheeks making the cheekbones appear less prominent and cheeks less rounded and plump.
- Cheeks seem a few millimetres lower.
- Accentuation of ‘laugh lines’.
- Appearance of a marionette line from the corner of the mouth descending to the chin.
- Loss of skin tone – thinning of the face.

I am so grateful to have been selected to test and review L'Oréal's Revitalift Filler Renew.

I am not getting any younger and taking care of my skin was not a major issue until I realised that I had saggy skin and wrinkles.

I've been using the cream, serum and eye cream for the past 6 weeks and the results are insane and phenomenal. I am 100% satisfied.

How it works: The Day & Night Cream and Serum, replumps and reduces wrinkles, defines contours and restores the skin. The Eye Cream, fills in wrinkles and replumps the tear duct area.

The steps are easy peasy and have become routine now.

I was very fortunate to be chosen to participate in the #TheTruthAboutAgeing campaign, giving me the opportunity to try the products within the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew range. During the last six weeks there has been a drastic change in the way that my skin looks and feel. The products contain the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid ever used by L’Oreal Paris, and are said to plump up your skin with moisture for fuller contours, more volume and reduced wrinkles, and trust me from the first application of the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew Hyaluronic Replumping Serum (Just love this) the deep contour on my forehead looked smoother leaving my skin silky, smooth and soft.. In the past I’ve never been disciplined enough to follow a proper beauty regime, but I fell in love with these products instantaneously and have used these products every morning and evening.
The packaging of the Replumping serum is fun and innovative resembling an injection with the applicator delivering just the right amount of product needed.
The L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew Filler Precision Eye Cream is one of my fave’s, it has a double-r tip with a curved side that fits under your eye and into the tear trough, and on the other side it has a flat side that allows you to gently massage the eye cream into your skin, removing those pesky bags.
I’ve been using the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew Anti-Ageing Day Replumping Care, which is enriched with Fibroxyl plant extract. It is easily absorbed into my skin and you only need a small amount to leave your skin feeling silky smooth. It allows for my foundation to go on smoothly (not filling the wrinkles). I look younger and my skin feels hydrated, with no signs of flakiness.
In the evenings, I’ve been using the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew Anti-ageing Night Replumping Care, which leaves my skin cool and hydrated. I simply cannot get enough of the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew range and certainly want to continue using these products, as I truly feel FAB @ FORTY. These products are awesome. Easy to use and it actually does what it tells you it will do.

So you finally realize you not getting any younger when you start seeing fine line and a bit of wrinkles. Seems a bit scary though!

I probably have the most unusual skin on this planet. In the winter it goes absolutely dry and flaky. With my recent travel plans, my skin was also got more damaged from the aeroplane airconditioners. When I got back to South Africa, I was looking for a products that would not only help with my wrinkles and fine lines but also improve the texture of my skin.

Revitalift Filler Renew Day cream: I used this cream in the day. At first I was sceptical that it might not suite my skin, however I noticed that my skin adapted well to it. It made my face look full and the fine lines and wrinkles were not quite visible like before.

Revitalift Filler renew night cream: This cream is awesome. I can be a bit forgetful with a day cream but I definitely stick to a routine with a night cream as I found that using a night cream is more important than the day cream. After using this cream my skin feel soft replenished and fuller.

I feel and look a lot younger now!!!!!

Hyaluronic replumping serum: This product has really made my skin look hydrated and younger looking. I have had no irratation. It has a nice floral scent to it and really works well.

Filler precision eye cream: This is truly a holy grail product. You can actually see the difference after using this product. My fine lines have faded and my under eye looks more firm.

I would definitely continue using these products and would really recommend these products.

"I'll be short although I can go on for ever. I'm loving how youthful my skin has become. I have a combination skin, some areas are dry and some areas are oily. Since I started using the Revatalift range I have seen a lot of change. My skin looks fresh and it is even. My under eye bags are not too visible anymore. Creases in my forehead are less visible.

I was chosen to test the Revitalift Recovery Night Cream and after 4 weeks I can see a tremendous difference in my skin. This magic purple lightweight cream has a wonderful effect on my skin, the product is easily absorbed into the skin, no greasy film left on the skin at all. I love the funky purple container and the night cream also contains a high concentration of hyaluronic acid and Fibroxyl plant extract, and works overtime to restore your skin overnight for plumper skin in the morning. The product also smells great! I would definitely recommend this to my friends!

When I was approached to participate in the #TheTruthAboutAgeing campaign, giving me the opportunity to try all the hyaluron-stimulating products within the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew range, I jumped at the chance. The products contain the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid ever used by L’Oreal Paris, and are said to plump up your skin with moisture for fuller contours, more volume and reduced wrinkles. I’ve slowly been putting them to the test over the past week and I’ll continue to do so for the next four weeks, reporting back at the end of my trial (with before and after photographs). For today though, I wanted to tell you a bit more about each of the products within the range, along with my first impressions.

The star product – and the one that made the biggest first impression on me – is the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew Hyaluronic Replumping Serum. Don’t be fooled: although this little superstar may look like a dermatological filler or injectable – and it does pretty much the same thing – it’s a completely non-invasive way to replump your wrinkles and define contours. But how exactly does it work? Hyaluronic acid can be found naturally in almost every cell in the body, with the highest concentration found in the skin’s tissue. It provides your skin with much-needed moisture by binding with up to 1000 times it’s weight in water, leaving your skin looking soft, smooth and plump. The problem lies in the fact that your skin’s ability to manufacture hyaluronic acid naturally decreases as you age, which explains why young skins appear so much fuller and plumper that more mature skins. Many women opt for injectable fillers at this point (when your dermatologist injects pure hyaluronic acid into specific areas on your face for added volume), but that’s where the Revitalift Filler Renew Hyaluronic Replumping Serum comes in: it contains 10 times the concentration of hyaluronic acid than any other L’Oreal Paris day cream, and it’s said to leave your skin looking fuller and ‘replumped’ in just four weeks. If these products really work, there’s no reason to opt for fillers anymore!

I’ve been using the serum for about a week now, and I’m not joking when I say that the results are almost immediate. I used the serum for the first time on Monday evening, and when I woke up on Tuesday morning, my skin already felt a lot more moisturised and more ‘bouncy’, if that makes sense. I’m looking forward to reporting back on these results in four week’s time, because it’s just one week in and I’m already impressed.

(On another note, I simply must chat about the innovative packaging, which not only resembles an injectable, but also serves to protect the active ingredients from air and light to ensure that the hyaluronic acid remains in its purest form. The applicator also delivers just the right amount of product – I find that two or three ‘clicks’ are more than enough for each use).

I’ve also been using the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew Anti-Ageing Day Replumping Care, which not only contains the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid formulated by L’Oreal Paris in a cream, but is also enriched with Fibroxyl plant extract. Fibroxyl plant extract is known for it’s firming properties, so the two ingredients together are said to result in a noticeably firmer and plumper skin. I’ve been using this every morning after applying the serum, and I’ve noticed that I only need a small amount with this cream – a little really goes a long way. It absorbs into the skin quite quickly, and it didn’t affect the application of my foundation at all. In fact, it contains dimethicone, which is often found in primers and helps to smooth out your skin, while ensuring that your foundation goes on evenly. It also contains glycerin, which is known for it’s moisturising properties, so this is a fantastic option for drier skin types. Although I noticed that it does contain titanium dioxide, which is known to ‘block’ and reflect UV rays, this day cream doesn’t contain an SPF, so it’s best to apply your usual sunscreen over the top.

In the evenings, I’ve been indulging my skin with L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew Anti-ageing Night Replumping Care, which is deliciously rich and nourishing and leaves my skin feeling super-soft and looking so much plumper upon waking the next morning. (As an aside, both the day cream and the night cream are housed in the same jars, so the fact that the day cream is white and the night cream is lavender is an added bonus – makes it so much easier to know which one’s which!) The night cream also contains a high concentration of hyaluronic acid and Fibroxyl plant extract, and works overtime to restore your skin overnight for more ‘cushiony’ skin in the morning. All the products smell absolutely divine, but the night cream in particular smells so soothing – it’s the perfect addition to my bedtime routine.

Last, but not least, is the product that I probably need the most! As a work-from-home-blogging mama, it’s safe to say that I don’t get as much sleep as I should be – and you can tell, just by looking at me. I’ve gone from never using an under eye concealer to not being able to leave the house without one in three short years – that’s the extent of the dark circles under my eyes! But I can live with dark circles – they can be covered up, and they tend to disappear once I’ve caught up on some sleep… Something I can’t seem to get rid of these days (and that’s become more and more noticeable since I turned 30) are the pesky little hollows underneath my eyes. Apparently, the diminishing levels of hyaluronic acid as you age can result in your skin losing it’s fullness, while your wrinkles only get deeper – this certainly explains the sudden onslaught of fine lines around my eyes!

I haven’t been using an eye cream for a good few months now (bad beauty blogger!), so I was very excited to try the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew Filler Precision Eye Cream – and even more so when I saw the packaging. It boasts an innovative double-applicator tip that features of a curved side that perfectly fits under your eye and into the tear trough, along with a flat side to gently massage the eye cream into your skin. The metal tip feels super-soothing on tired eyes, and the cooling effect definitely helps to minimise the appearance of bags – it’s utterly delicious to use! (In fact, I’ve just had to pause to give myself a quick little eye massage while writing this!) If you, like me, couldn’t be bothered to faff with eye creams, you might want to try this one – the eye massage is so divine, you can’t help but use it at least twice daily.

Now to wrap this up with a nice, neat bow: I’m just one week into using these products, and I’ve enjoyed using them so far. I’ve definitely noticed that my skin appears to be more hydrated (despite drinking copious cups of coffee and not drinking enough water), and it feels ‘bouncier’ – I have no other way to describe it! I’m really looking forward to continuing using these products over the next month, and to report back on the results. I’ve taken before photographs and I’ll take some after photographs at the end of the four week period – that way, the results will speak for themselves!

I simply love this products, i am fair skinned and you can see any marks and lines on my face. i have tried a lot of different products and after 2 weeks you can see the results of this products. the lines are very faint and my skin feels amazing. the packaging is so stunning and i went to price it very good i must say i will buy this again. I cannot wait to see what it looks like after 6 weeks.

So I am about half way through the challenge of testing the new Loreal range and I must say I am super impressed by the results I am seeing so far. Not only is the packaging classy and furturistic, but the contents totally blows me away in that it delivers results far faster than anything else I have ever seen. Within 2 to 3 short weeks my skin texture is looking super impressive and smooth. So my fine lines have not totally disappeared but the is a marked difference in that they are not visible unless under intense scrutiny. So what does beauty in jar cost you? For just over the R1000 mark you will get a set of 4 products that revolutionise your skin care routine and last I would think at least 3 to 4 months which is not bad considering the results.

So now that my 6 weeks of testing this range are up and its time to report back on the verdict. Would I continue to purchase this range, definitely as I think the results can only be noticed if used on an ongoing basis. Its a bit on the pricey side as mentioned previously but if thats the cost of beauty I am happy to splurge. The samples which I received in full size version are still looking quite full which means a little goes a long way and I would only have to worry about replenishing my stash twice a year so it averages out quite cheap.

I’m not going to sugar coat it – I’m lucky. Not sure, whether I won the bonus round in the genetic lotto, but I have rather great skin; combination skin with almost no wrinkles and I’m 36.

I’ve gone to bed on more than one occasion without removing my makeup and haven’t seen the inside of a spa all year. Am I tempting fate that one day I’ll wake up and look 102, most likely, but until then, I have L’Oreal.

Here’s my truth about aging.
My major skincare concerns – dark circles under the eyes (probably caused by insomnia) and then those very fine wrinkles between my eyebrows which will eventually need some serious attention, but that’s a story for another day.

As prescribed, I’ve used the moisturisers and eye cream for the last 2 weeks. The serum, I use sporadically. I know, I know, but most days I’m on auto pilot when doing my skincare regiment and it’s up to the forces that be whether I remember to use it or not.

Verdict – I see a difference. It might not be noticeable to the rest of the world, but to me, there is a change. Plumper and more supple skin has emerged from the depths of the Walking Dead like depths of my eye sockets. The might still be on the darker side of the moon, but overall, the texture of my skin has improved and for that we smile a little harder because we can.

Who knows what’s in store for my truth about aging volume 2. I’m hoping for an even tone and the skin texture of a porcelain doll ;)

I was very skeptical to begin with as I've tried so any products! I love the cool, space-agey packaging that looks and operates like a syringe. It pumps out a small bead of the serum (hygienic - tick), and the product smells pleasant & absorbs quickly (tick, tick). Plus, my skin looked & felt pretty decent after.

I have been hunting for the best anti ageing serum thats affordable, effective and non irritating for sensitve skin like mine. I love the slick modern packaging of a slick, classy and sexy looking metallic syringe which dispenses a measured amount of milky white substance by pushing the plunger at the other end. 2 push seems adequate to cover the forehead, nose and chin and 3 pushes for each cheek. The serum glides smoothly and gets easily absorbed instantly. It is lightly and pleasantly scented and does not irritate or sting my face. The instruction is to apply it 2x a day, morning and night after cleansing, before I apply my moisturiser over it. I have just tried it for 2 weeks but already, my skin feels soft and smooth after 2 weeks.

I'm sold on this product and would recommend it to anyone that has lines and wrinkles it really does work! My lines are hardly noticeable now and I feel more confident for it! " :) XXX

What I love most about being a beauty writer and blogger is constantly trying out new and exciting products and then - of course - sharing them with you.
And after trying a budget-friendly range that gives me great results, I get a real thrill, mostly because I know so many women can’t afford to spend upwards of R500 on an anti-aging product.

For the next four weeks, I’ll be trying the products below from the L’Oreal Revitalift Filler Renew range. They contain the highest concentration of Hyaluronic Acid formulated into a cream by L’Oreal. They’re also enriched with Fibroxyl plant extract, renowned for its firming properties. While this range is great for women’s skins 30 years and up (those concerned with aging and volume loss), it’s women in the 40’s age bracket (like me), as well as 50 and 60-year-old women who’ll see the most benefit. Best news is, all four products in the range, retail for a very price-friendly R284.95 each.

The Inspiration
For the Revitalift Filler Renew product range, L’Oreal took inspiration from Hyaluronic Acid injectables, analysing how this filler works to plump lines and wrinkles in the skin. They then sought to replicate it in the range.

Hyaluronic acid injections work on two levels:
1. They provide instant volume
2. They actually stimulate the natural production of collagen.

‘The swelling of hyaluronic acid results in a mechanical pressure, stimulating fibroblasts which in turn produces more collagen,’ explains dermatologist Dr Emma Wedgeworth.

An easy to understand explanation on the loss of facial volume

Skin cells are embedded within a scaffolding-like structure called the extracellular matrix (ECM). This consists of collagen intertwined with various proteins and other connective tissue molecules. Collagen is often known as the ‘building block’ of the skin.
As skin ages, the ECM becomes more fragmented, losing collagen, which in turn contributes to the loss of volume.

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally found molecule in the ECM, which is responsible for keeping the skin moisturised. It’s a highly hydrophilic molecule, meaning it attracts a significant volume of water and swells to many times its original size. Hyaluronic acid molecules are capable of holding a thousand times their own weight.

This incredible substance is found throughout the body - with 50% in the skin. It gives the smooth and dewy look of youth, but sadly dissipates alongside collagen from about 30 years of age.

The Revitalift Filler Renew range also contains Fibroxyl – an extract rich in sugars, which has been shown to activate fibroblast cells. Fibroxyl mimics the actions of a filler injection in the dermis (the lower layer of the skin), stimulating the fibroblasts to produce collagen, making skin behave as if it were much younger.

The Products
When the products arrived, I was instantly struck by how cool the packaging is. The serum’s packaging in particular is my favourite. It resembles a giant syringe and is designed to protect the formula from air and light. Clever huh?

I also like that fact that the eye cream has an applicator that’s curved on the one side. It also has a flat metal end that you use to gently massage the cream in.

Both the day and night creams are packaged in glass jars, giving them quite a luxe feel. I like the silky texture of the day cream, and noticed it absorbed super quick, without leaving my skin looking shiny. While the day cream doesn’t have an SPF, I noticed in the ingredient list that it does contain Titanium Dioxide. However, I would recommend applying a separate sunscreen, or using a foundation with a built-in SPF for extra protection. The night cream has a very luxurious texture and is super hydrating.

Good To Know
Back in 2003, while working for True Love magazine, I was fortunate enough to visit the L’Oreal Head office in Clichy just outside Paris. I was given a tour of the research lab, and it was there that I got to see just how cutting edge their scientific research really is. At the time L’Oreal had just pioneered growing actual human skin to test their products on. It was mind-blowing to see skin cells growing in petri dishes, and the whole experience gave me a new perspective on the brand. The thing with mass brands like L’Oreal is, because they’re so big, they can afford to spend millions on research and development, and that ensures their products are effective and safe.
Too many women think expensive equals better.
But, this is NOT the case.

I’m super excited to report back in a month on how I – and my skin - experienced this range.

When I was chosen for the Beauty Bulletin L’Oréal Review Club I was very excited, because a few of my friends had been using Revitalift products for years, with great results. I wasn't sure that it would do the same for me.

The serum and eye cream packing is particularly impressive. It looks far more sophisticated than the price suggest.

What I like most so far is the Eye Cream, because it comes with an applicator, so I don't need to touch my eye area with my fingers. And it's pretty simple to use too.

The day and night creams are rich and creamy and absorbs into my skin with minimal effort. And the serum is good preparation for before applying the day cream.

In the email I received from BB, I was told that results take 2-4 weeks to show, however, my skin almost immediately felt and looked more hydrated after using the products twice daily. I can't wait to see what happens after 4 weeks!

So far, so good.

My only issue so far is the scent. It smells good, however I have sinus issues and so a runny nose follows for an hour or two after applying the creams. But that's a small issue in the bigger scheme of things.

I would certainly recommend the product.

I am 46 years old with severe sun damage skin, and I am thrilled to try out this range!

I only received my products about 10 days ago as Skynet made a mistake with my delivery address, but I would love to give my initials feelings & opinion regarding this range.

The packaging:

Love the colour of the packaging and the Hyaluronic Replumping Serum and The Filler Precision Eye Cream are divine. I so wish the day and night cream can also be made in a pump action. So much better for functionality and the ingredients will last longer.

The product:

With all the products I can feel a sensation on my skin after application, but not irritating my skin at all. My skin feels very soft and plump in the morning. What I dislike is the amount of glycerin (not sure), my skin feels a bit greasy after application. BUT for the affordability and the way that my skin feels hydrated, soft and smooth, it is a winner in my eyes.
I would love to see the results in a month time and see if there are differences regarding my wrinkles! :-).

Wow!!! How awesome is this range???
I was lucky enough to be chosen to take part in this wonderful product review. One morning I received a surprise call from Lori, telling me that I'd qualified for the review and the very next day my products were delivered to me!
I usually use another brand of skin care products and thought I was doing well: not too prune like. I turned 50 this year have some wrinkles forming around my eyes, mouth and chin, and for some weird reason I'm STILL getting spots at that time of the month!!
L’Oreal Revitalift Filler Renew range, has come to my rescue, I can't believe the results in so short a time.
My package contained:

The first thing that got my attention is the great packaging. Sturdy jars and extremely user friendly serum dispensers, no wastage when applying them. I set off into darkest driest Africa for a safari in the deepest bush with very basic amenities. My Revitalift Filler Renew range came with me. (I was more worried about my L'Oreal products getting confiscated at the border search, than any of the other things we were taking with us) I can do without food and wine but NOT my face products.
I used the products morning and evening as directed, the first few days I couldn't stop touching my face: my skin felt incredible, so soft and velvety.
I really love the applicators for the serum, the Revitalift filler eye serum, cool metal "massager" dispenses just the right amount for each application, very soothing to apply.
The Revitalift filler renew "syringe" type applicator is also fabulous in dispensing the tiniest amount you need to fill up those wrinkles. The only thing I found wrong with this dispenser design is: the 'pump' button on the bottom is not protected by a cap or can't be 'locked' so that in my vanity case if it was bumped on the bottom it would dispense some serum. An awful waste and messy. Luggage handlers are notoriously careless throwing ones luggage around when you're not looking.
The Anti-Ageing Night Replumping Care cream made my skin feel wonderful after a day in the sun, and my husband snuggled up closer and told me I smelled fantastic. I have no sense of smell, but obviously the fragrance is great.
Each morning I apply the Anti-Ageing Day Replumping Care and my skin has improved immensely. My spots have cleared up, my skin is not so flaky, the wrinkles are definably diminishing and I glow.
The one thing that I would like to add to this product is an SPF factor, being a very "outdoors" type person; I spend a lot of time in the sun.
I never imagined that a facial product could actually, really, make a difference. I've tried quite a few products over the years and they have never really made that much visible difference in so short a time. The L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew RANGE is fabulous and I can highly recommend that you should try these products out for yourself. They are reasonably priced and widely available. Go get some today!!

Firstly I must say, I have always though L’Oreal Paris never catered for black Africans, so it was hard for me to even identify with he brand. As I've always believed that the physiology of our skins, compared to that of our non-black sisters, is different, I was a bit wary to even try the product. I mean at my age, I just cannot afford to have anything go wrong with my skin - the renewal process is much slower than it was in my teens.

My main concern was the dry area around my eyes and mouth, obviously from many years of laughing, frowning, screaming, winking, pouting - the lot. I tried to take the best picture of the area around my eyes, to clearly show the dryness that is a huge concern for me.

The packaging of the products is excellent and the Filler Precision eye cream is an even better package with a very unusual applicator. On application, the Hyaluronic serum glides smoothly on the face, but because you never know if you've applied enough, it's very easy to use more than required of the product. The fact that it comes in an easy-to- use dispenser doesn't make it any easier as it doesn't indicate how many drops should be used. So pretty me, I just went with my gut feel.

The Day cream felt absolutely amazing on application - does anyone know if it has an SPF? As much I love the luxurious, velvety feeling of this moisturiser that targets fine lines, wrinkles, etc, I still need assurance that it protects the skin from the sun’s harmful UVA & UVB rays.

The Filler Precision eye cream is a gem, to be quite honest. Out of all the products, this is by far my absolute favourite, especially because of the applicator that allows me to dab and massage my eye area whilst giving it a nice cooling effect. This one is definitely my favourite product of the entire range! In fact, if I had to buy any one product from this range, this would be it.

The night cream also has a nice thick consistency and it felt like my skin was given a treat while I was sleeping. I love the non-greasy texture of the cream which absorbs rather quickly. The next morning after first application, my skin felt plumpish and definitely looked more radiant.

It's been about 2 weeks since I started using this whole set, and I have to say that I am impressed. The only downside for me was, I think 3 days after the moisturiser in the morning, when I tried to apply my make up, it didn't absorb as well as it usually did. It almost looked as if my skin was flaking. But I just used a make-up brush to brush off the flakes (from the product), and everything was back to normal.

I have also since checked the dryness around my eyes and it seems to have regenerated and the dryness looks less pronounced. Besides the fact that my daily facial regime has gone from a quick 5 minutes to at least 15 minutes because of the involved application process, I absolutely love this range and can't wait to report on the end results after 6 weeks.

Well done L’Oreal Paris!! Now, please, how about some SPF on the Day Cream??

After 6 weeks of using the product, well I must say, my skin feels like I've had a mini face lift. The dry areas around my eyes are no more ( I swear). I can now safely say I look much younger than my real age (37) thanks to this super-amazing range. The amazing thing is wherever I go, even without make-up, people are commenting on my youthful appearance. Of course I naturally look young, but this range has done its part, no two ways about it. The entire range has given me a smooth and dewy look of youth, and did I mention how my age seems to have reversed miraculously?? Although I didn't see results immediately, after 6 weeks on the range (and I just finished my day cream this morning), it's well worth the wait. A bit of patience is all it takes.

I for one cannot afford the high-end anti-aging products out there, so it's comforting to know that there's range that's not so hard on the wallet, easily accessible to us. Thank you again LÓreal for this amazing range. You have yet another bestseller!

The truth about ageing is that like it or not, we get older day by day.
To say I was beyond overjoyed to be selected by Beauty Bulletin to use and review the Revitalift Filler Renew range, is an understatement. Younger, plumper skin without surgery…yes please! I couldn’t wait to get home that evening to cleanse my face and start using the creams. From the very first application, the overall appearance of my skin felt gorgeous. Both the day and night creams are so luxurious. It absorbs easily and locks in the moisture from the hyaluronic replumping serum and the filler precision eye cream which then gives you that smooth, beautiful glow.

The packaging is just as gorgeous, with the innovative designs of the eye cream and hyaluronic serum. The eye cream has a little "eye" on the round end which dispenses the product, but then you use the flat end to massage it in. The hyaluronic serum looks like a needle of sorts. This is in line with their claims of younger skin without the pain.

In order for me to give this a fair chance, I decided to not wear foundation for the duration of my review. I can’t believe the difference barely two weeks into using the range! I get complimented all the time now on my glowing skin, which I absolutely love. Who does not like to hear they look more radiant? I have to admit that I constantly had to remind myself not to touch my face, as it’s certainly started feeling softer than before.
The only concern I had was whether my sensitive skin would agree with the products seeing it had a lovely mango-ish fragrance, but not one single allergic reaction thus far. Just for this reason alone, I rate it 5 out of 5!
Would I recommend these products? Yes, I most certainly would. Best of all is that they are not badly priced either.

I can't believe it's been 6 weeks already since I started using these gorgeous products. I've really enjoyed being able to use and review this range. Every morning and every night I've religiously applied them as directed and my response is stil "WOW". Do you have any idea how soft my face feels? Well, if you want to know, go out and buy these wonderful products because you won't be disappointed. Even my daughter has noticed. I get more kisses on my cheeks now, which I love of course. When I started with this review, my guy was working away and upon his return, he immediately commented on how gorgeous my face feels. This has made me very happy, because I now know that I am not imagining the results I've seen so far.

I am ashamed to admit that prior to me using this range, I have not really taken care of my skin as I should have. Now I understand the importance of a good skin care routine. Revitalift filler renew serum container is beautifully delivered in an injection pen, for easy product dispensing and zero wastage. The day and night cream are in beautiful pots with just enough information to keep the classic package of the range.

I was told that result might only become visible in 4weeks, OMG I have already felt that my skin is so much smoother, firmer and those fine lines are disappearing…happiness. My firmer skin is the result of the Hyaluronic Acid in the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Renew Filler Range. What I have learned about Hyaluronic Acid is - HA is distributed widely throughout connective, neural, and epithelial tissue. It is of the chief components of the extra-cellular matrix (the tissue that provides structural support to cells). In short, hyaluronic acid supports many important areas of the body, with notable benefit to joints and skin.

I have been brand loyal to a different brand of beauty products for the last 15 years and was quite interested to see how my skin reacts to a change of product.

When I received the range of products, I was immediately impressed with the super-sleek, sophisticated packaging. It speaks of class and I loved it from the offset.

I have a concern with dark under - eye circles as well as fine lines underneath my eyes, so that was the first thing I targeted. I do not have concerns with wrinkles but have smiling lines and forehead crease lines which I was keen to see whether the product would assist with these.

I was very impressed with the 'syringe' resembling tube - the filler serum was packaged in. It made the application process easy and effortless.

The eye cream has a shank side on both ends and this assisted with application around the sensitive eye area very controlled.

Both the night and day creams have a lavender colour which took some getting used to, but I absolutely love the smell of the product. On application of all products I felt my skin was plumper, softer, and the creams were light and easily absorbed. There was no heaviness or oily residue which is perfect for my combination skin. What is also quite a treat, is that at the end of the day, my skin is normally very oily, but I do not have this problem at all. My skin remains bright, and moisturized, even when I decide to wear make-up certain days.

I would have loved to see the visibility of SPF 15/20, just as extra assurance of my skin protection, especially with our Cape Town sun.

The eye cream had a very refreshing and cooling effect and I can see that the tiredness is not as visible anymore. This helps quite a bit!

I am quite keen to see the results of the products over a six week period, where I will compare the before and after images.

I am very happy to see the small differences in my skin and cannot wait to share more of the results over the next few weeks.

First off I was super impressed with the clever packaging of the four part skincare range from Loreal.

Following the instructions carefully and using each product everyday for the last 2 weeks, I must say I am liking what I'm seeing so far.

The first item out to the test was the revitalift filler renew eye cream which comes in a super slim tube and silver ball applicator that helps you blend the product in to your sensitive under eye area- no need for fingers! I have deep under eye circles and the beloved wrinkles so am extremely keen to see if this product does the trick in minimising my ageing lines.
It's been 2 weeks and I've noticed a slight improvement. I use the eye filler both morning and night. I find the texture to be quite light compared to other eye creams I've used where I've instantly felt a tightening sensation. It does however provide a feeling of refreshment under my tires eyes. Will keep using this for the following 2 weeks and hope to see a much better improvement.

Second, I use the Revitalift filler renew serum which I was blown away the clever injection pen style applicator that makes you feel like you're giving yourself Botox! And it helps you save more of the product by only allowing a little at a time out the tiny needle tube. This formula is much thicker and you can feel your skin tighten a little after application. So far, with this concentrated hyaluronic serum, I've noticed great absorption by my somewhat dry skin and it immediately feels refreshed, brighter, softer and more supple. I'm really liking the results I've seen so far with the serum.

Third up is the revitalift filler renew day cream, which is super soft to the touch, has a gentle scent and luxurious feel. I struggle to find a moisturiser that isn't too thick or too oily and this one is absorbed straight into my skin without any residue or oiliness! That's a huge plus in my book. The feel of my skin after applying this is amazingly soft and it looks more radiant. So far, so good with this gorgeous moisturiser that keeps my skin looking fresh all day long.

Lastly, the lovely extremely decadent revitalift filler renew night cream. I love how Loreal has distinctly made this cream a lavender shade, it's packaging is the exact same as the day cream so this cream's hue is a great help to make sure you use the right cream at the right time of day!
The texture is beautifully silky and easily glides on to my skin without a subtle fragrance that puts me in a relaxed mood. After a long day and a good hot shower, my skin craves moisture and delicate creams which this night cream definitely provides! Especially in out harsh and dry winters. This cream has really delivered, it leaves my skin soft and plumper to the touch and even when I wake up, that lovely soft feeling remains. I really adore this product and am looking forward to seeing the results after the next 2 weeks.

It's been 2 weeks now since I started using the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Renew Filler range and as expected, when I received them the packaging did not disappoint. Clearly labelled, so no confusion as to what is what and which goes where - believe me, I mention this because I have had to Google once or twice before.

On opening the boxes, I was impressed by the opaque tubs, a good sign as this means they are conscious of the ingredients and maintaining their integrity. I feel like I'm somehow getting a little carried away here, the serum bottle was beyond fancy and pumped out in small quantities just as one would want. After-all serum is your "precious element" in any skincare routine and one wants to get the maximum usage out of it. The eye cream, also another well thought out tube with a cold steel tip to help cool the eye area and soothe any puffiness. 5 out of 5 on product presentation and packaging - seriously!

Now being an ingredient fanatic, it was important for me to note what the key ingredients were. My heart skipped a beat a hyaluronic acid. If you don't know, hyaluronic acid is found naturally in the body, it is what is responsible for your moisture levels and has the ability to bind water up to 1000 times it's weight. Think from raisin to grape. Now who doesn't want that smooth, supple, plumped up effect on their skin?!

The one thing I wasn't too sure about was fragrance. I am not one that ordinarily appreciates fragrance particularly in my skincare products, and first thing that jumped out at me was the scent. I find that my skin becomes a bit sensitised when fragrance is present, and unfortunately, yes I did have a bit of reaction in terms of a breakout, and I never breakout, yes never. The way around this for me was to then pull back and slowly introduce the fragranced day and night creams separately just to allow my skin to regulate and hopefully get used to it. Seems to have worked as nothing new has popped up since.

As with any skincare regimen, consistency is key! Results are accumulated and noticed over time, so I'm looking forward to the 4-6 week period when something significant will show up.

So initial thoughts, this gets a thumbs up from me.


6 Weeks Later - The Update

If you are serious about your skincare and anti-ageing goals, this is certainly one of those products I would recommend. 6 weeks later, you definitely begin to notice the skin's texture change. My skin was more supple, and one must remember this was tested during the winter time, where skin is more prone to dryness and sensitivity. I can only presume the results get even better over time, I continue to sing about consistency being the only true way to reap the benefits of complete skincare regime. This range gets two thumbs up from me now. Still no make needed for me as I am comfortable in my own skin!

The packaging is very nice and classy. I love the Serum its buttery and slides on my face. The product is absorbed very quickly and I absolutely love it. Its only been about 2 weeks since I started using the product, I haven't seen much of a difference, but I have noticed that my skin is less oily since I started using the products, my skin is very oily and my skin is so soft now and smooth. I'm looking forward into seeing more changes as I continue to use the products. But the Serum and the night cream are my absolute favorite. I also love that the smell is not over powering and doesn't last long.

The products completely moisturize your skin, leaving it soft and smooth. The smell is intoxicating and lingers on the skin, it is easily absorbed without leaving an oily residue. It plumps and moisturizes my skin. I have seen a dramatic change in the shape of the huge crinkly line previously on my forehead and the crows feet next to my eyes have also softened and filled. My colleagues at work have commented on how much younger I am looking. I will recommend this to everyone

It's been 2 weeks on L'Oreal Revitalift products, and I'm still excited. There's something soothing about trying new products, or maybe its the double applicator, designed especially for the contours of your eyes. I'm addicted to this small applicator, I spend minutes using the flat side to massage the hollow of my under eye . There is a bit of a string to it though, which you feel after a minute of application, but gradually fades off with frequent use of the product.

It will be easier for me to break this done in point form ( that's how I always unpack my throughts).

1. Packaging: I'd give it 200%. Not too girly girly, but feminine. It shouts 'sophisticated, millennium, powerful woman'. I love how you can easily tell the difference between the day and night cream. Night cream has more of a purple ombre which a touch of grey to it, whilst day is all shades of grey. Not too much writing on package, which gives it a very organized look. Shapes, not to round and not too futuristic, just perfect.

2. Product: So far so good. As mentioned above, there's a bit of a sting when applying the eye but not unbearable. The moisturizing cream (day/night) feel quite velvety on the skin, heavenly. I have observed a change underneath my eyes, less dark spot.

3. Worth the investment? I definitely think it is. I cant wait to see my final self but I'm already ecstatic regarding the outcome. I know that this is one review that changed my current beauty routine, and the price is really not bad considering that this is an investment.

I turned 40 in January and there have been a few very nigly issues to deal with regarding my aging skin. It seemed that all the products I was trying just were not living up to their expectations. That seems to have changed now.

I was lucky enough to be chosen to be a part of the L'Oreal #TruthAboutAging review club for Beauty Bulletin and was very excited to receive 4 full sized products to review and give feedback on.

I was pretty nervous about doing the review because one of the requirements was that you wear no makeup while filming or taking images. Anybody that knows me, knows that I can't bear to show my face without even just a little CC cream to smooth over the surface and hide some of the nasty lines of aging so it was really challenging for me to start this review without some trepidation, that plus my video making skills are seriously lacking.

I was really excited when I didn't just receive sample sizes but 4 full sized items which is amazing because it will really let me test it properly. I have received samples in the past and not been able to give a good review because there simply wasn't enough product to go around. Beauty Bulletin has made it possible to actually review this product over a 6 week period which is great because it gives a true reflection. That saying of "Rome wasn't built in a day" is true and it will take a lot longer that 1 week worth of use to see any concrete results using any product claiming to change the appearance of your skin.

I first and foremost want to mention how beautiful the packaging is. It is really very sleek and stylish. It gives an appearance of a very high-end range of products and the look and feel of the tubes and moisturizer containers that of very high quality. I also like the uniqueness of the design of the Replumping Serum to give the impression of a syringe as a play on the idea of clinical fillers that make use of needles and syringes and it allows to really target fine lines and wrinkles. And am in love with the design of the eye cream with it's cooling flat ended applicator. It really gives a cool and refreshing feel to the eye area when you use it. It is perfect for the contoured area of the eyes and really soothes and calms tired saggy skin.

Overall my thoughts so far are very positive. This range of products claim to re-plump your skin and fill out fine lines and wrinkles as well as define contours. I have already seen a visible difference in a particularly obvious set of deep furrows between my brows. I see a marked improvement in their appearance even after just 2 weeks of use. I also see a much tighter less crepe like appearance to my eyes and skin when I wake up in the morning which is due to the Hyaluronic Acid which is in all the products.

The Day & Night creams are very rich almost like a mask or treatment and the night cream is very lush and deeply moisturizing. I love how I feel when I wake up, it really does feel like my skin underwent complete restoration during the night. The fragrances are quite strong in the containers but the strength does dissipate when it is applied to the skin. All the products absorb really quickly and leave a fantastic base for my make-up. I have not needed to use a primer since using this product.

There is alcohol in the eye cream and serum and although I try and avoid that where I can, I did not find it has had any major drying effect on my already dry skin.

I am very excited to compare pictures at the end of the 6-week trial, I am sure I am going to see a marked difference.

I have made a little video expressing my initial thoughts as well as showing the products I received.

So what happened after 6 weeks?

Well, I have been using the products religiously for the full 6 weeks and although I have seen it be extremely effective in the reduction of fine lines as well as miraculously re-plumping my sagging skin around my eyes, I sadly have to comment that I have really been experiencing some breakouts since using it. I experienced the first breakouts quite soon after starting and thought that if I stuck to it, my skin would adjust but it just doesn't seem to have. I suspect this would not be the ideal product for someone with sensitive skins and I am not entirely sure what is making me break-out but I have. My skin is not all that prone to break-outs so I can only put it down to the new product.

I would still recommend the product to other's thought but sadly have to say that I no longer think I will buy it again because of this particular issue. Had I not had the skin trouble then I would repurchase it yes.

I read that it's just enough to clean your face twice a day and I just washed my face. Here is the products that I'll be using from L’Oréal Paris to review and hopefully you share and comment on my progress - please ask any questions. I have a day and night cream and eye cream and serum. As I just opened the boxes I picked up the not too overpowering but such a great smell and the packaging is definitely speaking that this is a quality product. I love the purple color too. I'm already impressed with the eye cream holder's design and applicator is phenomenal - I've never seen anything like it. Check it out in the pics. The flat end is cool on my skin and massages it directly under my eye. ?????? love it. So my eye cream is on! Doesn't feel overly stiff under the eye which is good. I am absolutely thrilled to be able to review this amazing product range from L'Oreal! I received these products just under two weeks ago and I have been using them religiously ever since then.
Firstly, I have to commend L'Oreal on the amazing and innovative packaging! The Serum comes in a syringe-type applicator and it looks futuristic and exciting. My hubby's jaw dropped open when he saw me using it! I am also very intrigued by the Filler Precision Eye Cream. It is presented in a tube with a double applicator. The curved side matches up nicely to the contour under the eye and the flat side is to help reduce the bags as it cools and massages the skin.
Both products contain Hyaluronic Acid so your skin is replumped and hydrated.
The Anti-Aging Day Replumping Care promises to define contours and replump those pesky wrinkles. It glides on smoothly and is quickly absorbed, leaving my skin make-up ready. I have noticed that I don't need my blotting paper during the day, so it definitely doesn't leave an oily residue.
The Anti-Aging Night Replumping Care also promises to restore your skin while you sleep...I cannot wait to use this at night as it smells absolutely divine. My skin definitely looks more refreshed on waking.
After almost two weeks of use, I can confirm an improvement in the overall appearance of my skin. Wrinkles are less obvious and my skin looks firmer. I cannot wait to see what the next few weeks will bring!
6 week update:
I am thrilled to say that I can definitely see an improvement in the overall condition of my skin after 6 weeks!! The skin around my eyes is more taut and less saggy thanks to the eye cream. I can see a reduction in the grooves next to mouth thanks to the serum and my skin is nicely hydrated thanks to the day and night cream. These products work very well together and are a pleasure to use.
I would say that the day and night cream are especially good value for money since I have a lot of product left after 6 weeks of use.

I received the L'oreal Revitalift Filler Renew Range to review and have been using them everyday for the last two weeks.

The range consists of the Hyaluronic Replumping Serum, the Filler Precision Eye Cream, the Anti-Ageing Day Replumping Care and the Anti-Ageing Night Replumping Care.

Hyaluronic Replumping Serum
"This is not a Dermalogical Filler however, it will reduce the appearance of wrinkles, and replump the look of skin contours. This serum is 10x more concentrated with hyaluronic acid than the average L'Oreal Paris day cream"

Pros:
* It contains hyaluronic acid, which is great for restoring moisture to your skin.
* I also absolutely love the innovative, fun packaging. It looks like a syringe which delivers the optimal dose of serum, and protects the formula from air and light.
* A well priced hyaluronic acid serum.

Cons:
Unfortunately it also contains a lot of alcohol, which is very drying for your skin and can do damage to the collagen in your skin.

So far I haven't seen any major changes in my skin. I'm interested to see how my skin looks and feels after 6 weeks of using these products, when I'll do another review.

I'm a bit torn about this product as I love the packaging and anything with hyaluronic acid is great, but the high alcohol content is a bit worrying.

Filler Precision Eye Cream
"L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Eye Cream reduces the appearance of wrinkles, replumps skin with moisture, while it also replumps the hollow tear area."

Pros:
Packing is amazing. Perfect to dispense a small amount of cream under the eye, and also protects the product from light and air. The applicator is curved on one side, with a flat metalic end to gently massage the cream under your eye area towards the cheekbone. 5* for this.

Cons:
As with the Serum, it does contain alcohol but possibly not as much, as it's further down the ingredient list. I do feel a slight sting for a few seconds when applying it , so that could possibly be from the alcohol.

The skin under my eyes looks and feels hydrated and moisturised. A good addition to your skin care regime at a good price.

Anti-Ageing Day and Night Cream
What I noticed immediately about both the day and night cream is that they contain a lot of glycerin. Now glycerin isn't bad for you at all, as it increases the amount of water in the outer layers of your skin, making it more hydrated. I absolutely love the night cream as it feels really rich and smooth and you almost feel like you've applied a wonderfully hydrating mask on your face at night.

However, with the day cream, I had to use a really small amount as otherwise it didn't absorb fast enough for me to apply my foundation. I do like both creams but have to use the day cream more sparingly than I would a lighter moisturiser.

Both contain the 'highest concentration of Hyaluronic Acid formulated by L'Oreal Paris in a cream", which is obviously what makes this moisturiser stand out from previous products. It doesn't say how much it contains (just 10x more) but if you're interested it's listed about half way among the list of ingredients.

The day cream doesn't state if it has any SPF, but I do see Titanium dioxide in the ingredients list. I would still recommend applying a separate sunscreen as well though.

Both also contain alcohol which is never good for your skin as it dries it out.

Overall my skin feels hydrated, soft and smooth, and I'm interested to see how my skin looks after 4 weeks.

Its texture is rich and comforting and definitely helps skin feel plumper and nourished. I'm a HUGE, did I say, MASSIVE fan of the buzzword / buzz phraze "Hyaluronic acid" and its incredible effects on aging skin. I discovered this when I used another skincare brand and had amazing results.

Hyaluronic acid is actually a natural structural component of skin, and, in fact, is present in connective tissue throughout the human body. The magic of this ingredient lies in its ability to retain moisture. In fact, one gram of hyaluronic acid is able to hold up to six liters of water! As we age, our skin loses moisture, resulting in a loss of plumpness and firmness.

Not only does hyaluronic acid provide moisture, it provides antioxidant defense against free-radical damage. This reduces inflammation.

Now that’s what I call a versatile and talented anti-aging ingredient!

I have been using the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Renew Filler products for less than a week and although they say you should start seeing results after 2-4 weeks, I am amazed at the changes I can already feel . My skin does not feel so tight and itchy. The product smells amazing and gets well absorbed into my skin. I also love the packaging. The L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew Eye Cream comes with a curved and smooth edge, which you apply below the eye...on those little crow feet, and with the smooth edge you massage the product well into the skin, whilst stimulating the skin.The L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew Serum comes in a unique container that keeps the product sealed in for freshness and which disperses just the right amount of product. I have seen a dramatic change in the crinkly line across my forehead. The day cream leaves my skin glowing and fresh and allows for my foundation to glide on smoothly. Applying the night cream has resulted in me not waking with a dry, flaky skin. Just love it
