I absolutely LOVE the loreal infallible make-up. I've been using MAC before and it didn't work out for my skin. It made my skin super oily and i hated it. Until i tried loreal.. always matte, full coverage.. im always getting compliments from ladies with regards to my make-up. It goes for R185 at dischem..
The coverage of this foundation by L'Oreal is everything ,the foundation has a great under tone for women of color and it blends well regardless of the method of application, although it does get a little oily towards the end of the day ,a little powder wouldnt hurt anways??L'Oreal has found a loyal customer in me!
I'm so glad I came across this foundation..i use the 330 noisette hazelnut, it covers my dark marks and gives me a flawless and natural look, it feels light on my skin, it doesn't dry out and last longer..id definitely recommend you try it plus it's affordable.
I definitely prefer this range over the Infallible 24-h matte range. There are more shades with a yellow undertone and also darker shades.
This has medium coverage but is definitely buildable and doesn't cake up. Doesn't break up or seperate in my oily regions, although I do have to touch up with translucent powder about half way in the day to keep shine at bay.
So far, this is in my top 3 drugstore foundations.
For a long time I've tried a lot of different foundations and nothing was really satisfying me but when I discovered L'Oreal Infallible 24 hour foundation I instantly there was no turning back.
Firstly it's pretty well priced for a foundation and I love how a little goes a long way with this product! It has a lovely matt finish and is really light on your skin. A really big thing when finding my perfect foundation is I didn't want it to feel heavy and "cakey" where it would just be this layer over my face and L'Oreal has this really great soft finish.
I use number 300 in amber for my skin tone, I find them to be really effective and definitely an affordable and great daily use foundation.
This is a really great foundation - I found out about it on a lot of beauty guru's youtube channels, they all had only great things to say about it
it is light weight and full coverage , the only reason I stopped using it was because it didn't work well with my oily T-Zone , it made my face feel sticky the whole day but it is a really great foundation, if it wasn't for that I would still be using it
Reliable Foundation - That's how I would describe this.
It is a smooth cream-like liquid that you pump and apply. It feels light on my face so my pores do not feel like they are suffocating.
I use a foundation brush to apply it and it goes on very smoothly. Usually one pump is good for my whole face and neck but I'll do an extra half when I'm trying to conceal more dark spots. It doesn't dry on immediate contact with the skin so it gives you time to apply it evenly all over.
It gives a fresh face with a slight dew/glow. If you have oily skin, then you need to make sure that your primer is very good.
I do find the need to blot after about 6 hours or so, but it mostly stays in tact. I blot, dust some translucent powder on and I look all made up all over again.
One thing I do not like about it is that it transfers. So you need to be careful around white clothes and try not to hug people. This can be annoying.
Overall, I like the foundation and they cater pretty well for the brown girls.
I really love the quality of this product. It glides on easily, does not cling to dry patches and provides great coverage. I would say it give you medium coverage while still being very lightweight and easy to wear. It is buildable.
I love that it is not a mattifying formula (there is a matte version available) because I have combination skin which can be dry on the T-zone and the last thing I want is for my foundation to look dry and cakey on my skin. The formula is long-wearing, I can apply it in the morning and by the evening my face still looks fresh. When I use it, I find that my other face makeup (powder, blush, bronzer) lasts longer as they adhere to the skin better with this foundation.
Makes my skin look flawless, but still skin-like, if that makes sense. I recently took a trip to India and found that my foundation stayed intact throughout the day, even though it was humid, and I was very active and travelling alot.
This is one of the best foundations that I have tried. I have tried numerous other foundations before but this one is the best matte foundation for me. I am in shade radiant beige and the cloud suits me perfectly. I use the cloud vanilla for under my eyes just to highlight the area a bit. It's full coverage and spreads easily, giving a nice matte finish, especially in the hot summer months. love this product!
I struggle to find foundations for my skin tone and type. I wanted to get the 24hr Matte foundation but they did not have my shade. The lady at Clicks suggested I get this one instead.
Pros:
Feels lightweight but offers medium coverage
Coverage is buildable
Sinks into your skin and does not feel like a 'layer' on your skin
Conceals blemishes well
Hydrates but dries to a semi-matte finish
Cons:
Tan shades have a bit of a peach undertone
Does not last very long (3 hours without primer and 6 hours with primer)
Transfers (I suggest setting it with a powder and a setting spray)
It covered everything that i needed to hide, it blende well with my skin and it stayed on my face for the entire day! It also didnt cause me to break out.
If you are looking for that flawless, dewy and long lasting foundation... there you have it. This is my main foundation and I love it to the heavens! My colour is Caramel / toffee I would recommend it to anyone any day.
The fragrance is light floral and fresh that vanishes soon after application, hence is not bothersome. The texture of this foundation is thick, creamy and bouncy. It spreads easily and evenly on skin. There is a certain extent of thickness in the formula that provides medium coverage even with little amount of product. The finish is not completely dewy nor matte. (refer picture below) Its somewhere between powdery and dewy. Depending on your skin type and humidity you can either use a compact over it or skip the same.
Destiny Mag was giving away this product free with their November 2016 issue. A R199 foundation at the price of R30.90, I had to get myself one. It was hard to test the colour on my skin since the magazine was sealed and I never used L'Oreal products before but I figured that Cappuccino should be my shade, When I got home I saw that it's similar to the Rimmel Match Perfect foundation I'm using in Mocha. The L'Oreal foundation is very lightweight on the skin with light coverage. You can build it up if you want to. The foundation doesn't have any chemical smell which is a bonus. The foundation has a matte finish which is great for my oily skin. I loved it on first try!
So I received this foundation to try and review from the BB Team and I tired this foundation this morning. Mr first impressions of this foundation were so good, not only did it really blend very easily the coverage is also great! It gave me a great finished look and I would definitely purchase this foundation again. I have an oily skin so this foundation is perfect for me, it did not at all make my skin feel tight or leave my skin feeling too oily/shiny it was perfect and I am so happy with the results. The price for the foundation is also really affordable and its great quality! I have added a photo of the finished look with me wearing this foundation. If anyone has a oily skin but doesn't want a very mat look this is the foundation for you, I was blown away!
