All you need to do is to apply the lip colour on first, and then add the lip balm gel for a lovely glossy finish. The L'Oreal Infallible 2-Step Longwear Lip Colour in 404 Coral Constant comes in a duo tube with both the lip colour and the lip balm. There are no instructions that come with the lip colour, but there are numbers with arrows pointing in opposite direction. 1 points to the colour and 2 points to the gel balm. It’s not very obvious that what they mean is that you should use the colour first and then apply the lip balm after.
I learnt this the hard way as I applied the balm first and then the lip colour. This led to a very uncomfortable and grainy feeling on my lips that immediately let me know I’d done something wrong. I the saw number arrows and realised I had to apply the colour first and THEN apply the lip balm on top.
I then carefully applied the Coral Constant L'Oreal Infallible 2-Step Longwear Lip Colour carefully. It quickly dried up and I put the lip balm on top. The lip gel immediately brought life back to my lips and gave them a beautiful glossy finish.
As for the colour lasting all day, this is actually very true. Because of this, you will need to make sure that the colour is what you want and be prepared to have it on all day. It is difficult to remove and you will need a good make up remover to get rid of it.
