L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner

This shampoo smells heavenly! I found that it did improve the texture of my hair after the first few washes but the effects kind of wore off after that. I still kept using it to continue smelling like a goddess, but my hair has returned to the frizz mess :)

I love how it nourished my hair and made it feel soft and also smell nice, my only concern with this product was that when I used it, I experienced hair loss a lot while applying the product and after styling.

Because my hair is super long, buying shampoo and conditioner from the salon can end up costing me a small fortune (believe me, I use a looooot of product when I wash my hair)!
I have been using L'Oréal Extraordinary Oil shampoo and conditioner for years, and I find that especially the conditioner is about as close as you can get to salon quality: it is thick and creamy, and it makes my hair wonderfully soft and easy to manage. I also feel that the shampoo thoroughly cleans my hair without stripping it dry.
For the price, a better product is hard to come by.
I have seen in other reviews that some people don't like the smell or find it too strong, but personally I like it and I don't find it overpowering at all.
I have tried some of the other Elvive products, but Extraordinary Oil is definitely my favourite!

Although I've changed brands, I loved this range. I purchased the treatment as well as the leave in oil. It left my hair smelling and feeling so good!

I absolutely love this product. The LOreal Elvive range is really great but I found that this one in particular just did it for my hair. I actually didn't pick this one myself, my sister gave it to me because she didn't really like the fragrance of it... but I am so glad that she did because it really works so well for my hair type! (It smells a tiny bit like men's cologne but when your hair is dry it's hardly noticeable :) )

Surprisingly, the Shampoo is really cleansing without leaving my hair feeling dry or stripped like other shampoos do. So that is definitely a plus. :)
The Conditioner is GOLD, not just in colour ( oh yes, it is actually gold...so pretty!) but also because it is incredibly nourishing. It has a thick and creamy consistency which really coats the hair well. I found that a small amount goes quite far and I have really long hair.

So, after the usual lather, rinse and repeat saga and my hair is all dry - my hair feels wonderfully soft and it looks silky smooth.
I would definitely buy this range again..and I have - multiple times :P

Consistancy: Shampoo - Love the golden colour, reminds me of honey, and it washes the hair squeaky clean without that stripped feeling.
Conditioner - Love the smooth thick glitter effect of this conditioner, it leaves my hair soft and detangled. It also smells great

Would I buy this again: a thousand times yes, My hair is in love with this product

I have been trying out a lot of new products lately and this range falls at the top of my list. Having chemically straightened my hair, it gets very thirsty, hard and brittle from lack of moisture which ends breaking my hair.

I bought the shampoo, conditioner, nourishing mask balm and the hair enhancer for very unruly hair as a start. From the first wash, the results were thrilling! I felt the difference as I was washing my hair. It had never felt so smooth! By the time I got to applying the treatment cream I was already in awe with excitement at how wonderful my hair felt!

My hair combs a lot easier so that means less breakage. I use less products on it so it does not get weighed down anymore. The biggest change is that, I do not feel the need to use weaves on my hair anymore more because my hair looks and feels beautiful!

I would definitely recommend all the products from this range but my absolute favourite has got to be the shampoo! I look forward to every wash!

Since Dischem offering a sale where all L'Oréal products are on sale for R45 bucks I had to buy and stock up on this product.

I first saw it and thought it would probably make my hair oily and I'm just recovering from a bad hair care product that gave me super dry and itchy scalp. I do not need oily hair as another issue. BUT I was mistaken when people started advising me on going back to elvive but and trying the new extraordinary oils range.

I have and firstly it smells amazing. I love the packaging which is always nice. What I like most about the product is that a little shampoo goes a long way. It really cleans without the stringly coarse feeling.

The conditioner is not at all oily. But it is thick and creamy and spreads out really easily through the hair. (smells amazing ofcourse)

I recommend using the entire range altogether. Best buy ladies for that winter hair care that will last you into spring.

It really improved my hairs appearance. My hair looks healthier and my scalp is soo much better and no more dry n itchy scalp that is totally and completely embarrassing.

Overall I love this product. Do not know why I changed hair brands but I'm going back to Elvive and staying..

I bought the shampoo ;conditioner and nourishing mask balm which costs R79.95 ....bit more than your shampoo and conditioner.
The smell is absolutely heavenly and is enriched with 6 micro flower oils.The shampoo and conditioner are excellent quality but what really stood out for me in this range is the balm which is designed for use after shampoo and conditioner.
I used about 3 walnut sized amounts and applied it on my wet hair focusing more on the hair i would pull through a pony tail.this golden shimmering creme 3 minutes later rinsed off clean to leave me with incredibly soft tangle free hair very much like the kerastase oleo relax masquintense.my hair smelt so amazing and felt light nourished and soft.highly recommend this.im a huge loreal fan and this is one of their very best formulations yet.
