From the moment I sprayed it on my wrist I was overwhelmed by the scent of sweet vanilla, very similar to Hypnotic Poison. I did not experience the "fruity" part of the fragrance, although it was very sweet. I know I keep repeating the word sweet, but that sums up the perfume for me. After the third time I let my boyfriend smell my wrist, he refused to smell again and said it was too much! It took a while for the scent to settle to middle and base notes. The middle note was still a bit overpowering, but eventually it settled and a subtle (still a bit sweet) smell. I did not like the base note, but that is pure personal preference. It reminded me of a sweet version of a men's cologne. The downside for me, which I think other ladies will love, is that the smell seemed to last FOREVER! That always seem to happen if you don't like a smell. I won't be purchasing this perfume, but I do think that ladies who like strong fragrances will like this. I think it will be more of a winter scent, but opinions differ, so you might think it is awesome for summer!
I do give it four stars though, even though I did not like it as I think it will be a popular fragrance amongst the ladies.
