I have been using Blonding Spray for forever I can remember. It does not damage my hair. My hair is not dull or dry. Colour is beautifull and I can use it as often as I like.
One big problem!! For the last three months I cannot find it anywhere in Cape Town. Dischem, Clicks, Durbell says they had hundreds of requestes for this. Nowhere in Cape town. Please get anyone help me with where to find it as I am desperate and so are the ladies at Durbell who also used it.
It is the best easiest product ever.

I love this product. have been using it for many years since i saw it on the shelves at Dis-chem.
It highlights and naturally lightens my hair leaving multi coloursish dimension in my hair which is great! I do find that it does dry out my hair since I use it soo much but I opted for John Freda hair protect serum which balanced the dryness out.
It not only smells amazing but if you apply to much it wont leave you hair feeling crispy or oily of hard like other products and its not greasy at all.
It will take some time before you see results if you have very dark hair but once it starts showing you will be hooked and your hair will look like a salon highlight at a cost effective price.
This is a great product if you want to go a few shades lighter than your natural hair colour.
If you want a more drastic hair color change then this is not something you should use, rather go for a hair dye.

This made my hair more yellow than a nice natural blonde. I would buy again but not regularly And i would recommend use with a silver shampoo if you do use it often. amazing price though!

I had been researching ways to lighten hair naturally and came across this product in Dischem. I recently had an ombre colour done (Brown roots and blonde tips) and was looking for something to bring out and sustain the blonde highlights in my hair. Enter KAIR! Contains Chamomile and honey (known for bringing out colour in Blonde hair) and Silk Amino Acids which strengthen the hair shaft.

Super Easy Application: Apply to washed damp hair. Spray sections for a highlighted look or whole head for complete glow. I alternated between sitting in the winter sun and blowdrying (I wanted fast results!).

And voila! An all-over sun-kissed look- I was Definitely impressed. It does contain Hydrogen Peroxide- a lightening agent- so it will dry out and expand the hair shaft. So, I followed with another light wash using John Frieda Go Blonder Lighening Shampoo and Conditioner. I then styled it using a light spray of Kair extra-strength Placenta and Dischem Heat Styling Spray!

A safer way to highlight your hair the "natural" way!

NB. The box says not suitable for dark hair (obviously peroxide brings out the red tones in brown hair so use sparingly if that's you :)

I was using it for a while, but never noticed any changes to my hair. I think I am doing something wrong? Or maybe my hair is just tough ;)

I have discovered this product when I was still studying. I love it because:
1) Fantastic price!!! Who can argue with R35.00 a bottle?
2) It smells great! No ammoniac smell.
3) The pump action bottle makes it super easy to use.
4) It is great for a subtle more natural look.
5) It really does work! The more heat is applied to hair afterwards, the greater the effect. Being in the sun, seems to really bring the hi-lights out.
5) It does not dry the hair as extremely as other colouring shampoos and products.

Final verdict: A great product at a great price when one does not want a dramatic change, but only more subtle natural looking hi-lights.

I was first introduced to this product by a fellow BB reviewer, Atomickitten years ago and I am still using it with great results. I never like colouring my light brown hair although I do like highlights, and highlights doesn't last. So when I read her review on the product I thought why not! I was skeptical at first because the product is so cheap but it's proven to be a great product that requires very little effort! I spray it on when I know I will spending time in the sun and even though there have been weeks that I haven't used it, the colour hasn't faded. (I wash my hair everyday without fail) and it looks natural and I haven't had to spend money on highlights or any colour! It's a fabulous product and you will always find a bottle in my bathroom cabinet!

My must have for summer. started using when I had blonde hair, to keep it looking fresh. it can either be used while sitting in the sun, for the natural lightening effect, or it can be used with heat, for extra lightening effect. I have used it for both. I spray it on before blowdrying, the blow its in small sections, so the heat can really activate it and then flat iron too. a good product to used to lighten up hair in summer, and overall to keep highlights looking light and not dull and brassy

The change is not dramatic so if you want instant results then you may be disappointed. For subtle sunkissed highlights in summer I highly recommend this product. I use it once or twice a year on my roots only. It only works if I blow dry my hair or sit in the sun. Well worth the price if you can't afford highlights.

I started using this spray 3 weeks ago and I am quite impressed with the results. I use it once every 3 days on towel-dried hair, brush it through with a wide tooth comb, and then blow dry to intensify the result (as recommended on bottle).

After 2 uses, people noticed that my hair was lighter.

I am currently growing out my blonde highlights and trying to get back to my natural colour (ash blonde). This spray has not made my hair super platinum blonde, but it has helped to disguise the difference between my roots and highlights.

I only use the spray on my roots, so I am not too sure if it does damage the ends.

Pros:
Easy to use (spray bottle)
Nice smell
Makes hair look naturally blonder
Awesome price (R40 a bottle)
Bottle should last quite a while as not much is used

Cons:
Not a very dramatic effect (if that is what you are going for)
Spray can damage clothes so wear old towel around your shoulders

I would buy this again as I like a more natural look, and it is an easy, cheap alternative to highlighting my hair.

I love this product. Its quick and easy to use. Best of all are the results. It gives a natural highlight to my hair without the mess. The price is fantastic and I find that one bottle lasts at least 6 months.

Love it and will keep on using it.
