No matter what season it is, nobody wants dry looking lips.
This lip balm can restore THE driest of lips, leaving your lips looking and feeling soft and moisturised.
If you wear lipstick during the day, try and apply this balm just before going to bed after you've removed your make-up. I promise you, you will wake up with hydrated lips. I consider this the "rehab process" for my lips since I wear lipstick ALL DAY on most days.
You can get tinted or untinted.
Packaged to look like a lipstick so anytime you whip it out, you'll have a have a classy looking balm in your hand.
I probably first tried this product about 6 or 7 years ago. I was always licking my lips and my goodness were they dry. My lips actually became red and painful and they were seriously cracking. (*Let's just take note that I was a kid then). But enough about that. My mother used to buy Justine products all the time so she bought me this product and it worked like a BALM! ... I mean BOMB! :) no more cracked, dry, painful lips for this girl. I use this product every winter now. It keeps lips visibly moisturized and though I'm not a fan of the smell, I love what it does for my lips. I also use it under some of my more drying lipsticks. I find that it kinda helps. All in all, great product!????
I was looking for a good lip product for winter and since I always use the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Lip Tint, I thought this time I would try something different. I opted for the Justine Tissue Oil Lip Therapy. I went for the untinted one but you can get them with subtle tints as well. It is formulated with waxes, oils and vitamins and enriched with wheatgerm and sweet almond oils. Personally, I love it. It is rich and moisturising without being overly oily and shiny. I wear it alone and under and over lip colours. It is especially good to wear under matt lip colour which is known to be drying. The balm is stylishly packaged in a chrome tube and looks just like a lipstick. I think it is really pretty and classy. It's available exclusively from Justine sales consultants for R115.
I got mine for R100 on special a while back and it came with the Skin Repair Face Cream.
I love, love, love this lip balm. Even more so because it comes in a variety of colours as well. As I am not a make up wearer during the week this tinted lip balm is perfect for slathering on for a bit of colour.
This product keeps my lips soft all day long and I usually only re-apply once.
I have it in Pomegranate & Plum.
I totally agree with the previous review.
I absolutely love love love this lip balm. The best thing about it is that it comes in few colour variants, i bought the plum which is a deep red.
Only down side is that once you use the product during the day you need to reapply often because you lips become so soft that they may peel/crack. reapplication is needed often.
It did remind me of the Lip Therapy by Elizabeth Arden although the Justine lip balm does not have a SPF as does ELizabeth Arden.
What a wonderful product to review at this time of the year. When winter is at its worst! I found that this lip balm is non sticky which is the highlight of my experience with it. The best part of this gorgeous balm is that it contains Justine's signature Tissue Oil. And everyone know how many miracles that product has done!
I think this balm is a must for every women, or even man because my hubby loved it.
