Justine Perfecting Daily Care Range

Firstly I'd like to thank Beauty Bulletin and Justine for providing me with these samples and giving me the opportunity to share my opinion of the products. When I said "samples", please note that these products were not "sample size" but they were full sized products, which I was very pleased with. Kudos to BB for once again not disappointing ('',)

Now, on to my review....

I received the Justine Perfecting Range as I have a very uneven skintone and dark spots (acne scars). I used the products religiously for about 2 weeks before I started seeing results. My skin was brighter and more radiant and overall softer and smoother. Even though I noticed visible results after 2 weeks, from the first day I used the products I was impressed. They have a very pleasant smell. The gel face wash is amazing. It's gentle and soothing and does a good job of removing makeup. The toner is also very gentle - it doesn't burn or irritate my skin like some other toners do. The day cream contains a SPF 25, which is great because that's one less product for me to apply to my face. It goes on smoothly and has a very soft texture - almost luxurious. Since these are full sized products and given the fact that you only have to use a little of each product daily, I would say that they should last me about 2 months or so.

Overall, I'm very happy with this range. I've finally found something that is really, truly helping me even out my skin tone. Thank you Justine!

Due to my pregnancy my Face has suffered uneven skin tone, with dark spots and even worse very light blotches. I have been very sceptical as to what to try, due to the fact that I am expecting...Because I trust Justine products and I know they are mild to the skin, I started using the Perfecting Range.
It’s got a fresh clean smell and free of colour. It’s also got a smooth and light feel.
Opening and closing the product is really easy and simple. The packaging is effective as per individual product.
The purpose of the product is to reduce uneven skin tone and it does exactly that!!! It works perfectly and you can see results almost immediately. My uneven skin tone is completely gone as well as the mild acne I had before using the perfecting range.
I would definitely recommend this product!!!
I have since bought me another package of the perfecting range.

I recently came off very strong meds for my skin - it was like being a teenager again and because of it some spots left marks on my face (no scarring took place, only some light red marks from some of the spots). The Justine Daily Perfecting Care range came at the perfect time as I was just preparing to get back to a normal facial routine.

Step 1:
I start off the day by using the Perfecting Gel Cleanser - it smells clean & fresh. I only use a small amount as it really goes a long way. I noticed from the start that I need to avoid the eye area as it burns, so I massage it in circles over the rest of my face and then rinse off with warm water. It leaves my skin feeling clean & soft.

Step 2:
Next, I used the Perfecting Toning Lotion - I pour a couple of drops onto a cotton wool pad and start to wipe my face in an outward motion & then continue to my neck. It doesn't burn my skin or leave it tight (I've experienced this with some other toners previously). Like the face wash, it also has a fresh scent.

Step 3:
My final step is to use the Perfecting Day Cream (after eye care, which is another brand of eye gel)- it has a sun protection factor of 25 (SPF), I still need to use a much higher SPF so I combined the cream with my regular SPF. I'm in general more of a lotion kind of girl as I always feel creams are to rich for my skin but I have been using the cream regardless and it hasn't left my skin oily or greasy.

In the evenings I repeat step 1 & 2 after cleaning my face with a soap free cleanser lotion to be able to remove make-up on my eyes and then just follow with my night time serum (again, a different brand).

I've only been able to use the products for 2 weeks so I'm still busy using it to experience it's total effects, but overall, it really does deliver on it's promise for a more even skin tone and it's quick and almost effortless to use.

I have dull, tired, uneven skin tone and Justine's Perfecting Daily Skincare range is just what I needed to brighten, beautify and revive my skin. But, I only really noticed results close to my fourth week of religiously sticking to my skincare regime.

I start my day off with an exfoliating scrub. This has always a big part of my daily routine to get rid of dead skin cells and attain a more polished look.

Step 1: Perfecting Gel Cleanser
Lovely pleasant scent, only small amount is required for cleaning. Not foamy, almost water like base. I massage it into my wet skin and rinse with warm water. I have found that I need to prevent any of the product from getting too close to my eye area as it does have a tendency to burn my eyes through the skin during the massaging process. Leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh.

Step 2: Perfecting Toning Lotion
Once again, lovely pleasant scent. This alcohol-free toner has a cooling effect. Unlike other toners, it doesn’t sting or leave my skin feeling tight. Its clarifying properties definitely helped restore and improve my uneven skin tone. I apply a few generous drops to a cotton wool pad and gently wipe my face.

Step 3: Perfecting Day Cream SPF 25
I'm so pleased this product comes with an SPF of 25. This is of high importance to me to prevent any further sun damage. I found that it leaves a lovely mattified, brightened skin tone. And even after my makeup has been applied, my skin's radiance filters through. Unfortunately, I have found that my skin does feel slightly dehydrated, so i have been adding extra moisture to certain areas. This lovely cream contains a botanically derived skin brightening complex and bear-berry extract that helps the appearance of existing discoloration and inhibits further unevenness.

Overall, I've been pretty impressed with these products. I have tried a number of products that claim to improve uneven skin tone, but this range does exactly what it says! The only difference though, is that it took more than 2 weeks to really notice any difference.

The first thing that impressed me about this range of products, is the lovely and fresh green colour. The products are perfectly matched, and look like a professional range.

This 3 step range for uneven skintone, is all inclusive, for day time. There is a night cream, which I have not reviewed

Follow me in my routine, pictorial included!

1) First up, wash your hands! You may think that you can wash your face and hands at once, but it is important to wash your hands first, as your hands are the major carrier of germs.

2) Dampen your face with warm water, and apply a small amount of cleanser, and massage into your face. Rinse off with luke warm water. It is important to wash your face morning and evening, whether you think your face is dirty or not. Makeup is not the only dirt on your face, dust, free radicals and environmental pollutants all affect your skin, and need to be washed off twice a day.
This Justine cleanser, is the first gel cleanser I have ever tried that is not drying. It removes make up quite well. It is a creamy and rich gel texture, if that even makes sense. The formula is quite runny, so dont squeeze the tube. I think this formula is more suited to a pump bottle. The scent is amazing!

3)Time to tone up. After pat drying your face, with a clean towel. Do not rub your skin dry. Also, try use a seperate towel for your face, and the rest of you, to keep things clean. Apply a bit of toner to a cotton pad, and gently wipe over your face. See how much dirt comes off, even though you just washed your face. People always ask, is toner necessary, YES! It removes any dirt that is remaining, and prepares your face for your moisturiser.
This toner is gentle and not drying at all. No tight face for me. A lot of toners use alcohol in it, which dries your face, so keep a look out for that. This toner is alcohol free.

4)Time to moisturise! Moisturising and sun protection is extremely important. Sun damage is the number one reason for premature ageing. Apply small dots of moisturiser on your forehead, cheeks, nose and chin, and then blend in. Do not rub hard, but rather pat it in. Allow your moisturiser to absorb before applying makeup.
Unfortunately this moisturiser was too thick for my skin. I love the texture and the smell, but because I am prone to clogged pores, this didnt work too well for me. It is a rich and luxurious cream, and I wish I could use it. It works perfectly as a primer, and makeup does not slip off your face. It also has spf 25, which is great! Sun protection is especially important when you are trying to even out your skin tone.

Sometimes a whole range doesnt work for specific skin types, as in my case. I would continue to use the cleanser and the toner, and perhaps get the mattifying day cream from Justine instead.

Thank you Beauty Bulletin for the awesome opportunity to try out the Justine’s skin perfecting range for two weeks. The products are simply delightful!
My main skin concerns are dark marks and uneven skin tone so I got to try out Justine skin perfecting range. The 3 step range is meant to cleanse, tone, moisturize and even out one’s skin. What makes this product range extra special is the fact that it’s similar to Avon products and Justine’s helps women to be their own boss by selling the products. I am one of those women who enjoy looking good at the same time being my own boss.
The packaging is in an attractive lime color, I got to try out the cleanser, toner and day cream (SPF25). It is made with edelweiss extract which boosts skin radiance and evens out skin tone while preventing premature aging. The ingredients are safe to use and over the course of two weeks, I did not experience any reactions.
Beauty regime:
Morning and evening- gently massage a small amount on to damp skin using the perfecting gel cleanser. Rinse with lukewarm water and dab the perfecting toner onto cotton wool and gently wipe over face and neck (don’t skip the neck). Wash off the toner and apply the perfecting day cream onto the cleansed and toned skin. The day cream is non greasy and perfect for applying underneath make up without fear of smudges because when the day cream is applied, it quickly gets absorbed into the skin. Consistency is important to achieve maximum results.
Thoughts about the 3 step range:
Cleanser- works quite well and does not dry out the skin after being used. It manages to effectively remove make up. The ingredients are not harsh on the skin so it’s also ideal for women with sensitive skin. My only issue with the cleanser is that it’s a gel, I would have preferred it more if it were a foaming cleanser, other than that, it works well.
Toner- I like that its alcohol free. It also helps clarify skin whilst leaving it refreshed and cool.
Perfecting day cream (SPF 25)- Contains a bear-berry extract that aids in clearing up discolorations and stops further unevenness and dark marks. Skin is left looking supple and well moisturized. The added benefit is the SPF25, what can beat that? I really appreciate manufacturers adding SPF to face creams, extra mark for that.
RESULTS AFTER 2 WEEKS:
After the two weeks were up, I experienced noticeable changes on my skin and the discolorations appeared lighter and less visible. This was a good sign because if results can be seen in as little as 2 weeks, what more if I use the product for a month?
Why I would recommend it:
• Justine is clearly trying to cater for all the skin needs of women in and around South Africa by introducing the different ranges for women with dry skin, oily skin, uneven skin as well as ensuring that women from various cultures can use their products. This shows that they are passionate about their products and what they do.
• The ingredients used in making the products are safe for the skin and not tested on animals.
• The products are cost effective and easily accessible.
• Packaging is great and environmentally safe (for all those women who are passionate about the environment) without compromising on the quality.
• Justine helps create a part time income for women who are their consultants. This shows their support for small businesses.
Lastly, i enjoyed reviewing Justine’s products. Will continue using them. xXx

I have always been a fan of Justine products over the years but had never tried the facial skin treatment. The facial cleanser was not foamy (a bit of a disappointment) but what I liked about it was that it made my skin feel silky smooth, the toner was not abrasive to the skin and the day cream was not watery or oily at all. I have a sensitive skin and was impressed at how my skin just felt after day 1 of using it. I am hooked to it and use it twice a day for a two weeks now. It is a keeper!!!

I have been using the Justine skin perfecting range for more than 2 weeks and i have to say that i have not seen the results it has promised.
My skin is very sensitive and i also have some dark patches on the sides of my face near the eye area and mouth area. My skin is basically not even in tone.
If you look clearly at the before and after pictures you will notice no real difference.
The product itself agreed to my sensitive skin and smelled really nice it also gives a nice finish to the face not making it oily at all! So its very gentle on the skin.
However no difference was seen with regard to my skins uneven tone.

When I received e e-mail to say that I was chosen for this review I was very excited. I have been a loyal user of the entire Justine tissue oil range for many years and I love it.
I have been using my Perfecting skin care products now for just over 2 weeks.
Let's start with the face wash. I am a little disappointed in the wash. Firstly it does not lather so you don't actually feel like it is cleaning your face properly, otherwise it does have a lovely clean fresh perfume.
Moving on to the toner. I must admit I don't usually use a toner. I have really enjoyed this step in the process, the toner is lovely and just gives a very slight tingle once applied. I think I will definitely incorporate a toner into my daily skin care regime.
The moisturiser, well this one is much too rich for my slightly oily skin. I used it for a few days but it made my face too oily and shiny. I have since been using it at night rather, not sure if this is a problem but I don't see why not??
Overall, I have only noticed a slight brightness in my complexion. It can't say I have noticed a change in my pigmentation.
This is unfortunately not a product I will use again.

Thanks Justine, I will, however always continue with the Justine tissue oil range!!

I have used the Justine range for just over 2 weeks now and as much as I am amazed at how the product has agreed to my sensitive skin, it has not proved to be as effective as it was supposed to be.
I have darker patches around my mouth area, as well as on the sides of my face near the eye area. I was in hope that after 2 weeks I will see these patches getting lighter but I have to say that I have not seen such results. The toner at first seemed to sort of give my skin a slight burn but after a few uses it got better. The cream was very nourishing to my skin but not leaving my skin oily, which I loved.
However it comes down to the effectiveness of the product and I have to say that it did not deliver as promised. If you see my pictures you will notice no real difference from beginning to end.
