I was looking for some moisturiser and saw the Johnson’s Holiday lotion. As I am a huge fan of their Baby Bedtime Bath Lavender, I liked the idea of a slow self tanning process added to my daily moisturise, I bought a bottle.
That evening I had a shower ( also did a quick body scrub ) , dried myself and sat on the bed ready for my first application.
The first thing I noticed about the product is the funny smell, but I think I was only so concerned as I bought it as a moisturiser rather than a self tanning product. As a self tanning product the smell isn’t bad and fades quite quickly. I tend to like moisturisers that leave me smelling nice.
I used a lot less than I expected to, a little really goes a long way with this product, and rubbed it as evening as I could all over my body. Once I was finished I rubbed the excess off on my face ( I know you aren’t meant to ) and washed my hands and feet so not to make weird marks then changed into my PJs. I then continued with my quiet evening at home.
When I woke up the next morning there was a tiny difference, not huge, and I didn’t have any stains on my clothing. I did however have a little staining on my creases on my hands and between my toes.
