Johnson's face care daily essentials oil balancing night cream

I am not really fond of any creams that have a gel-like consistency, but this one pleasantly surprised me! I always have this idea that it will leave my skin feeling a bit sticky, but it really doesn't. It is well absorbed into the skin and it moisturises a lot more than I thought it would. Even though I have combination skin, my skin has become a lot drier during winter and the product is a bit too light for me. I will be trying it again in summer; i think it will work perfectly then. It is an affordable product that is well packaged. Really worth a try.

This Oil Balancing Night Gel Cream for oily and combination skin is AMAZING! It feels super smooth and cool when applying (a bit like water in gel form, with a delicious fresh scent). It is easily absorbed into the skin, and dries very quickly. I love the texture, it really feels light and refreshing. When waking up in the morning, my skin felt quite matt (instead of oily as with other moisturisers), which was a lovely change. Therefore, this product is moisturising while keeping the skin's oil balance in order. The price of this product is very reasonable, especially considering Johnson's is such a well known, quality brand. I would definitely recommend this night gel cream! :)

I liked the cooling feel of this night gel when applied to the skin. However as with the day lotion I found it to be too light for the drier areas of my skin. I think this would be better suited to a younger, oilier skin than mine.

I find the fragrance too overpowering(and I think the addition of perfume is a concern for breakout prone skin as it can cause major sensitivity) but if you are used to fragranced products it shouldn't be too much cause for cncern.

A light easily absorbed oil with a delicate fragrance. It leaves my skin smooth and fresh and oil free. An enjoyable part of my night time routine.

Very gentle on your skin. Super lightweight and absorbs easily into your skin. The gel consistency makes it feel like you are rubbing water into your skin - very strange at first, but a nice cooling sensation. Not oily or greasy. You wake up with extremely soft and plumped up skin that's perfectly hydrated. I actually couldn't believe such a light gel cream could moisturise my skin so nicely. It even helped remove these dry, rough rash-like patches I had on my jaw.

I'm actually a bit obsessed with this gel cream. It's done wonders for my skin. It's very convenient in the little tub and a little bit of this goes a long way. I see my tub lasting for at least a few months. The scent is lovely - just like the other goodies from the range.

It's generally known that cream moisturisers are not a friend to oily skin types. I love the little 50ml glass jar this product is presented in, easy to use! Just a note, if you use this product, ALWAYS make sure your fingers are clean before you dip them in the jar.. for obvious reasons. I'm not too crazy about the scent of the gel, i think the best thing would've been for it to be unscented. Again, a tiny bit of this product goes a long way, so the whole jar (using it every evening) will last quite a long time. Application of the gel is simple, massage it into your skin (after cleansing) every evening. I really enjoyed the 'feel' of the gel, being water-based, it's super light and doesn't leave your skin feeling heavy. My skin absorbed it so quickly and felt really great after application - soft and healthy. The accessibility of this product, combined with the value you get for your cash (and it doesn't cost a lot), makes this a winner for me. I would definitely recommend it!

This night cream is a water based gel that gives your skin a lot of moisture without the heaviness of an oil based night cream. I purchased it a Clicks for R40 which is a bargain for a night cream. This gel-cream contains zinc which helps to balance oily skin and prevents breakouts. It does take a few minutes to fully absorb into your skin but I did not leave any residue on my skin. In the morning my skin felt plump and the oily areas of my face were not shiny at all. I really like this gel-cream but I found it to be not nourishing enough for my drier winter skin which is more normal to combination.
