John Frieda® Sheer Blonde®, where have you been all my life??
When it comes to maintaining blonde hair, blondes certainly don't have more fun! :/
My hair is naturally dark blonde, but I like it lighter so it is heavily highlighted.
In the struggle to keep my blonde hair looking good I am guilty of two hair sins that would make hair dressers/ stylists cringe in horror (they may want to look away now ;))
Hair sin no.1: I highlight my own hair at home - I have just never found a hairdresser that I am happy with and I cant afford to go have it done every 6-8 weeks!
Hair Sin no.2: I rinse my hair in a basin of water with a few drops of gentian violet after washing - this is an old school way of counter acting the brassiness of blonde hair because of the purple colour, but its also very drying and kinda strange since gentian violet is generally used for fungal infections (gross I know!) :/ #TheBrassyHairStruggleIsReal
But thanks to the John Frieda® Sheer Blonde® Range these don't have to be sins any more!
John Frieda® Sheer Blonde® Everlasting Blonde Shampoo & Conditioner keeps my highlights looking fresh and blonde and salon quality (even though they are really just a quick, cheap home job!).
