I'd recommend that you only use a small amount as it can leave your hair feeling a bit greasy if you use too much

You'll need to wash your hair soon after using it as well (a day or two) otherwise it can make your hair a bit oily

But otherwise great product, does exactly what it says that it will do

This mousse!! I use it for days i want my hair to have volume, but at the same time feels soo soft! This product i use before i blow dry my hair, its so easy to use. Just shake the bottle. Turn it upside down abd spray a reasonable amount on the palm of your hand. Then Gently rub it evenly into your hair and after that blow dry your hair and ta-da! You'll have the best soft, silly and shiny look! Grab yourself this if you only blow dry your hair. Or even if you just wanna do a wet look for a nice sunny day! ?

Hi beauties! I would recommend this mousse if you like to blow dry your hair very often. For me, I did not enjoy it as much as I dont blow dry my hair too often and the first time I used it it made my hair quite yucky the next day. So only use small amounts.

This is an amazing product, I particularly pair this product with my Luxurious Volume Root booster and hairspray. This mousse is easy to use and it spreads easily which means I don't have use a lot of the product. It works particularly well if you blow dry your hair immediately after applying the product. I definitely would recommend this product to anyone looking for that extra volume.

I have previously tried the John Freida Brilliant Brunette Lightening Shampoo and Conditioner and loved the quality and effect it had on my hair, I just had to try out the JF Luxurious Volume range. I am extremely impressed with Shampoo and Conditioner as I felt my roots have been given volume and can see results after the 3rd wash.

The JF Root lotion and mousse works wonders for the day, However the lasting effect of the products have to be washed out the next day as hair becomes tough to manage with product in it.

I like using this product when I know I'll wash my hair again the.ext day. It makes my hair a bit oily and crispy the next day, but works amazingly on the day. Be careful not to put too much product onto your hair as it can build up and cause it to become sticky after blowdrying. I use a very small amount that works for my hair.

So I am still inlove with this product. But I did manage to find the culprit that's making my hair oily on the second day - it is this little guy.

It is still making hair look great on the day I used it, but the second day my hair looks really oily and tacky.

I will still use it if I know my hairs doesn't need to last very long. But for weekdays, I won't use it. I'm not using alot so it can't be that.

But saying all that - this really is changing my life!

I LOVE THIS!!!!! On days where I don't feel like blow waving my hair, I pop some mousse in my wet hair, comb it through and when my hair dries naturally it leaves me with effortless waves (granted my hair has a slight wave in it naturally) this adds texture and volume to my fine hair and makes it look as though I spent hours doing it. It works great when blow waving too ;)

I have not used mousse in ages. was pretty surprised to find it in my John Frieda lucky packet. It smells great, you don't need a lot and it makes a huge difference. I am trying to stay away from a straightener, and with this product all you need is to put some effort in when blowdrying your hair =)

I will buy this after mine is finished. I even introduced this to my mom who also struggles with fine hair. Needless to say, she loved it aswell.

This is a gem! A must-buy if you struggle with flat hair!

John Frieda Luxurious Volume Volume Building Mousse, is the best mousse I've come across. It leaves my shiny and soft.
It is easy to apply and is not sticky as a lot of the others. I love it and will not easily change to another product.

I am loving this John Frieda Luxurious Volume Volume Building Mousse. Really easy to use and left my hair so soft and gorgeous with some subtle volume.
Basically I washed my hair with the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Shampoo and conditioner, I then towel dried my hair, pumped out a small amount of the mousse into the palm of my hand and starting at the roots I applied it through to the ends of my hair.
I blow dried as per normal...the result....lovely soft bouncy sexy volumised hair and again the fragrance of these products are my ever end, I love it.
What I really liked about this product is that it is easy to apply and has no drying effect and doesn't make the hair sticky either. Really awesome product and this is one styling product I would repurchase and will definitely recommend to a friend.

I was lucky enough to be chosen to review this range (thanks BB!). I hadn't heard of John Frieda before Beauty Bulletin, nor had I seen it on the shelves, so chances are I wouldn't have tried it otherwise. I didn't know anything about it or what to expect.

The mousse was fabulous. I love mousse in summer because I always go to sleep with my hair in braids then when I wake up, i apply mouse and they stay nice and curly all day. This product also smelled really great, which I believe is a very important element in mousse as you can usually smell it all day.

I tried something different with this one too, I was going to a red carpet event, and I wanted my hair ultra straight. I basically washed it, then put about a handful of mousse in it and then blowdried it as usual. I then used my straightener to straighten it. It wasn't sticky and it helped keep the straightness in place for hours and long enough to keep my hair shiny and straight for the full event. Great product.

The hairspray was a nice find. As I never buy hairspray because I always think of it as horrible sticky gunk that my hair could do without, this one pleasantly surprised me. With it's pleasant smell, and it's very unstickiness, I will be using it again. Mostly for upstyles as I find they usually come down half way during the day at work. When it used this one it lasted all day.

To best honest I never really used Mousse on my hair before. This was my first time using mousse and i was pretty impressed.

A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY with this product, so be sure not to spray out too much. I love the texture of the mousse!, If i could I would play with the product all day long !.

I feel that the mousse leaves my hair extremely soft and sleek and quite voluminousness.

I can positively say that this product maximizes volume , holds style and resists humidity.

The blow dry lotion and this product is by far my favorite products in the range . The packaging is perfect as well as the products!

I would repurchase this and i would recommend you to purchase it!

This is a very nice product to have on days that you don't feel like washing your hair or just need a boost of volume - I received a sample of this aswell as a sample of Batiste dry shampoo and I must say I would rather choose the batiste one over this - they are both good but this one makes my hair feel a little like I have a layer of powder on my head , its harder to wash this product out of my hair than with the batiste one

The Volume Thickening Mousse by John Frieda needs to be shaken vigorously and then held upside down before dispensing the light, airy mousse.
I liked the fact that this product absorbed easily into my hair without clumping up or sticking strands of hair together.
To be honest, I didn’t notice too much more volume than other mousses I have used in the past. I was more impressed with the fact that after blow drying the mousse left my hair feeling smooth and soft, with very few flyaway hairs.
It did not create a lot of texture, but it did add subtle lift while ultimately giving me a very smooth finish.
